A lovely little classic pub with a friendly landlord and nice, chatty locals. They had a dart board and a brilliant vinyl jukebox, definitely worth a visit if you're in the area on the weekend (I think they only open Friday to Monday)

Popped in for 1/2 hour between train trip. Nice landlord and cob local pensioners having a ritual Sunday banter. £4.50 for pint and half of Wrexham lager. Good pint and very good price.

The ultimate pub, this is what a British pub should look like. Or at least what you imagine a pub looks like if you have never been in one.Wish I could take the whole pub with me to Oslo ??
