We ordered a takeaway from here recently. Although we are not local from the area, we did not know about the awful hygiene rating till we arrived to collect the food.

We were so pleasantly surprised with the flavours, the food was tasty and all the ingredients were fresh! The salt&pepper chips were so well-spiced and the prawn balls were fresh, not oily and had a fluffy texture inside. Also liked the flavour of the curry sauce, and the chow mein was good. Happy to have found this place, thank you!!

This used to be our regular place but after today I think its time to change. Everything tasted like it had sugar in for some reason. Did not taste anything like it used to. Wasn't very nice the last time we went in but tonight was awful. Prawn balls with soggy raw batter. 2 beef curry, 2 egg fried rice, chow mein, chips and extra pot of curry sauce all tasted overly sweet with no hint of spice whatsoever. Really used to like this place but I can't justify paying £60 for food that doesn't anything like it should. God knows what they were doing with the food tonight ?

Really happy with this Chinese takeaway. The waiting area might be no frills but we always enjoy our food and the service is very friendly.

Excellent option for ordering a takeaway. Food was delicious and good portions - the meat was succulent and the dishes really tasty.
Took less than 20 minutes to be ready after we called up, but it seemed to be a quiet night. The lady at the takeaway was friendly. Was visiting the area and would highly recommend! Thanks China Garden.
(Note - cash only, but there?s a cash machine across the road).

Really great Chinese food however it gets very busy on a Saturday and you can expect to wait a long time for food. We were told 45 mins and ended up waiting over an hour, lots of other people in the shop also waiting well over an hour for food.
