What a find!! Just off the Glendwr way. Opening time 4pm. I had anticipated poor real ale if any at all and only fizzy keg beer. Ye of little faith!! This was NOT what I found! The place is undisturbed by new fangled 'upgrades' and the beer was excellent. Some cherry locals 1 pint down by 4.15. No messing in Wales. The bar man was chatty and welcoming.

Based in a new house in a quiet location, it is very clean, tidy with everything you could want in a B&B. Welcoming host with a lovely breakfast. It?s not a cooked breakfast, but there is a huge choice of cereals, yogurts, fruit, jams, drinks and toast. Excellent room and en-suite. Easy to find and free parking.

Lovely little pub, great beer and a fabulous atmosphere. Recently visited for Sunday lunch (you have to book) and had a delicious meal.Very attentive staff and owner, though not intrusively so.Update: pub still brilliant, always assured of a very warm welcome

A great find! Stayed for a night with my dad while we were in the area. Really friendly people, rooms are great, well-kept ales, and an absolutely super breakfast. Also, Ruth is a personal friend of Dr Karl Kennedy from Neighbours, which is pretty cool!

Very warm and welcome. Very good host, excellent room and breakfast. Just nothing wrong. This is as a good B&B must be. Cannot recommend more. Easy to find and also close to villages and other services.
