Had great Goulash night here with friends in the room above the shop. Relaxed atmosphere. Great for a meet up & chat over drinks. You can buy your drink downstairs in the shop & share with friends or family on the premises. Great alternative night out from a pub night etc.

I've been a regular in the bottle shop for a number of years. I've noticed the woman regularly behind the till can be abrupt and unwelcoming at times but brushed it off. Today was different however. We went in with the intention of buying a special bottle for Christmas day. Whilst I was in there a woman came in to pick up donations that vino Mondo had collected for a charity. The member of staff she was apparently supposed to be speaking to was not present, and therein ensued a very one-sided conversation where the woman behind the till proceeded to be as rude and unhelpful as possible and spoke very loudly so as to ensure the rest of the shop could tell how frustrated she was. She said "you couldn't have come at a worse time" (there were maybe four customers in the shop) and seemingly couldn't phone the person in question to rearrange a time for this poor woman who was being very quiet, not complaining at all. I left without purchasing anything as I've no doubt my presence at the till would simply be too much for her to cope with and I sincerely do not think it's acceptable for staff to speak to people in that manner, especially doing so loudly to make some sort of point. It's a real pity as I've always liked visiting but I can't abide unnecessary rudeness. Don't do stuff for charity if you're not going to do it in good grace.

This place is amazing! Fabulous wine and beer selection with a garden for enjoying a tipple, too. The Snowdon craft IPA was delicious and the Italian red, Millefiori, proved a winner with cheese and biscuits. Knowledgeable owner and staff whose passion for their wares is obvious. Well worth a visit.

Went today to pick up a wine recommended on Facebook. There was a gentleman in the shop who obviously knew his wine but the girl on the till did not. Spent loads of time trying to placate this guy totally ignoring me on the phone and computer at the same time. Then when finally finished and said ?oh sorry thought you were together? nothing more no thanks for waiting, sorry for keeping you any if that how rude. Have had similar before when trying to order on Facebook. Totally ignored no response. No way to treat new, local customers at all I think ???

Stopped by for a drink, outside is set up nicely. Enjoyed our drinks and had a couple of meat and cheese platters which were excellent. Staff were excellent.

Honestly a lovely little place that we go to regularly with a beautiful beer garden at the back. However I had to give a low score as we were shocked by the rudeness of the staff (mainly a woman I believe to be the manager.) She was abrupt with us, was condescending and rude to her young staff members and loudly complained at about the amount of cheeseboards her customers were ordering. A guest who was staying with us went to the till to check out the beers and before he ordered - she loudly exclaimed "the whiskey is not for sale - not by the glass anyway" before he had a chance to open his mouth. It seemed as though she was suggesting that he didn't look like he could afford the bottle. We had our one drink and left. I am so disappointed as it was our favourite place to come for a drink in Conwy but after that experience, I cannot and will not, return and give a person like that my hard-earned money.

Amazing little wine bar on the high st in Conwy. Great selection of wine and a very decent craft beer offering (especially considering it?s a wine bar) plus a few draught beers. Several great areas to enjoy, it has a perfectly designed beer garden, an inside drinking area upstairs and a nice sized table in the shop. There?s cheese and charcuterie available if you get peckish and the staff are friendly and accommodating. I can?t believe how perfect this place is - so much in such a small venue. Best bar in Conwy by a mile.

It's the most beautiful wine bar I've been to pity it closes so early especially in the summer . The beers and wine is fab and we love the secret garden.

Check out the secret beer garden behind the shop. Quite large patio area with some tables under marquees. Wines by the glass, draft beers and cocktails. Non alcoholic options available and snacks (crisps, nuts & meat / cheese board)
