We went for an afternoon of drinking and catching up with friends.
Great beer garden with plenty of seating and umbrellas, great atmosphere and the staff were great.

We were looking for somewhere for food and noticed this pub had a beer garden. Turned out to be a great find as the food was very good and the outside area had lots of tables.
Outside they have a covered verrandah and tables with umbrellas. There are some games machines for the kids and some pitch and putt practice bits.
Between us we had the enormous Double Chicken burger and fries with homemade coleslaw and a club BLT sandwich.
Parking outside and around the area is restricted, when we visited you could park for 60mins during the day.

On a short break in Conwy and came in for live music on Friday and Saturday. Good atmosphere and made to feel welcome.

No vegan options since the take over but, more importantly very dismissive staff especially, given that we are both visually impaired and have white canes with us.
Also the whole place stank of stale beer.
The barman spoke with an attitude which showed the he couldn?t be bothered to deal with our request.
You can?t called it a veggie burger on the menu when it?s cooked with the same oil as the meat products. This also doesn?t cater for those who have allergies.

Absolutely Devine! We were greeted by a lovely young lad from Birmingham he was polite and helpful. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming with a pool table and open wood fires. We ordered food and my god! Absolutely delicious. The lasagne is a must try!! The children's pizza meal was such good value for money, the pizzas are handmade and were absolutely lovely, my partner and son also got the bluebell burger with cheese and they loved it. It was all made to a high standard and after finishing we found out we were the first customers she has cooked for since taking over the pub. If I could give it more stars, I absolutely would!

Always been a great pub but new management isn?t great. Slow staff, replaced the nice draught beers with Carling and Fosters, and changed to the English version of Conwy on Facebook.

What lovely staff. I only popped in to see if they sold bottles of water for my dog, and the barmaid kindly filled a dish with water for me. I will definitely visit for a meal next time I'm in Conwy ??

A lovely pub with a love of the Welsh and the Welsh language. They don?t like loads of loud singing. They do like Welsh people.
