Lovely coffee and cake. Happy to advise on allergens. Staff friendly. Great place

Very average coffee for £4.20 a pop (the most expensive I've had in the UK!). Not rude but not particular polite or pleasant - we were hastily instructed to wait outside as they were preparing our coffees. I guess it was pretty busy ?

An excellent breakfast this morning! Two of us had the granola, and two had a halloumi breakfast bagel. Absolutely delicious and reasonable priced too, especially compared to a terrible cafe up the road. Smoothies were excellent, and a decent cup of coffee too. Friendly but not overbearing staff, and a pleasant atmosphere. 100% recommended.

I had a very tasty bacon & egg roll and flat white here last week. Great service too by a very polite young lad. Would definitely recommend.

I had a fantastic experience here today! Brilliant service from a young confident girl, very impressed. I had a matcha which was divine, and a gorgeous pistachio croissant. I would recommend everyone to visit this cafe! Thanks Gaz and the crew ??

This wasn't our 1st choice for breakfast, but if we'd known how good it was... it absolutely would've been. Staff were welcoming and attentive and the breakfast was superb... easily the best we'd had all week. If we find ourselves in this neck of the woods again, another visit is a no-brainer. Highly recommended!!!

Best bit of bacon my wife?s ever had! We were staying in Conwy for a week and found ourselves here for breakfast on multiple occasions.
Food- I had the full English and it was terrific, perfect portions, fresh ingredients, nothing greasy and very filling. Great way to start the day!
My wife had an ?incredibly high quality smoothy? and it is clear they use really fresh produce and take the product seriously.
They are super dog friendly!
The only negatives- It can be hard to get a seat and when you are in it can feel cramped, this is clearly because of how great the place is and so many people want in on it!

Popped in for lunch with my sister when visiting Conwy. We both had different Taco bowls. I opted for the vegan bowl, my sister had the halluomi bowl. They both exceeded our expectations. Staff were friendly and quick to serve. I'm only sad that I live so far away, on the essex coast, or this place would be a twice weekly lunch spot for me. Delicious and delightful.

I have been meaning to write this review for a while but honestly was put off by how the owners respond to criticism online. After seeing a few recent reviews sharing similar concerns, I feel it?s important to be honest about my experience.
When I visited L?s Coffee and Bookshop, the place was completely empty. I was greeted, but it felt a bit forced and not very warm. The atmosphere was pretty dull. The coffee was weak and lukewarm, and the wrap wasn?t toasted properly ? cold in the middle ? plus it was made with a cheap supermarket-style wrap, which was disappointing. The cakes were nice, though not homemade. The décor and menu boards looked great, but there were no books anywhere, which felt strange for a place calling itself a bookshop.
After my visit, I checked out their Instagram and was surprised to see posts accusing other local cafés of copying their ideas and calling them ?copycats.? That didn?t sit right with me, especially since they promote supporting local businesses.
What really shocked me was the level of unprofessionalism in their responses on Tripadvisor. I?ve never seen anything like it. Instead of addressing concerns politely, the owner has made personal digs at customers ? like one comment saying, ?you know I can remember this guy, only by his awful shirt he was wearing and his terrible haircut.? That kind of behaviour feels really rude and damaging, and it doesn?t reflect well on the café or Conwy?s community spirit.
Between the cold atmosphere, poor food and drink, and this kind of behaviour online, I can?t recommend this café. There are plenty of lovely independent cafés nearby that offer great quality and genuinely welcoming service.

Lovely dog friendly Cafe in heart of Conway. As soon as you walk in, the staff are very welcoming. My dog was immediately offered treats, which she loved, along with the dog sausage's. My breakfast was delicious-the yogurt/fresh fruit and granola brings me back every time, and I plan my trips around their opening times. Looking forward to my next visit
