Friendly little pub. Quite good for watching the football. Shame that there was only one cask ale on but it was good enough. Child and dog friendly.

Lovely place for a short-break. Stayed with my partner for a couple of nights after New Year. Was a bit worried about staying above a pub but we slept well (if a bit too warm) and our room was comfortable, had a good shower, and had great views of the river. Also enjoyed taking part in the pub quiz. The service was great and personable - thanks to Jo for all her help. Would go back again.Walkability: It's inside the old town walls, right by the riverside. Quite a few walks that can be done right from the doorstep and good access to bus and train services to go a bit further.

This is worth a visit. Surprisingly Timothy Taylor's Landlord was on draught.Good pint; poured flat though.All the staff were friendly.Only gripe I had was no one wiped the tables over.

Popped in at 10pm on the way home. Pub was quiet initially but got busier which is no surprise as there are decent ales and beers on offer. Prices are reasonable. Staff were friendly and the pub spotlessly clean. Noted offers on food such as 2 mains for £18 to try in the future. Located at the bottom end of the town in Conwy this pub could well be overlooked but worth a visit

What an unexpected find. A pleasant cosy pub with food. I had arranged to meet friends in the Midland Cafe opposite, which was unexpectedly closed on a cold November, Wednesday evening. We dashed into The George & Dragon out of the cold & were welcomed by a warm inviting atmosphere & friendly bar staff. We giggled at ordering their all day breakfast at 6pm with a glass of wine & a beer ! It was perfectly & freshly cooked & a bargain at £9.99. Its on my list of favorite pubs in Conwy.

We had lunch here , which was delicious and reasonably priced. Service was quick and smooth. The young lady behind the bar was really helpful and friendly. Great atmosphere.

Lovely views over the water, room on the small side but everything you need. Food and staff great,certainly no evidence of 'they don't like tourists' which iv seen on previous reviews

Nice pub with traditional British dishes.Relaxed atmosphere. Bartenders and service are friendly.Monday and Tuesday there are two main dishes for £18. There is also a beer offer on Monday, if you order one beer you get the second one for half price.
