Spent a couple of nights in Conwy and stayed at Castlebank Hotel mainly due to the good online reviews. The reviews were accurate - excellent hotel, friendly and helpful hosts, clean, good value, excellent breakfast. Well worth a visit. We'll be back.

Lovely hotel,in a great location. Very near the town centre/castle, with train/bus stops all near by. Hosts were very welcoming, always checking if we had a good day, and offering help/advice. The rooms are bright, clean, and cosy. Delicious breakfast each day too, with home made fruit salad. Our train wasnt until the afternoon on our check-out day, and the hosts were happy for us to keep our room till then, so we could go back and freshen up. Would definitely recommend this hotel, thank you for a lovely stay!

This place is beautiful. Run by a lovely couple, awesome breakfast, cosy room. You can see the castle from the room. The blankets are comfortable. It?s walking distance to the castle and the seaside. Nice and quiet.

Jo and Henrique are very welcoming and friendly. Very clean hotel and fabulous service. 100% recommend. We will definitely be returning!

Stayed at Castlebank a few times quite a few years ago. Stayed this weekend for our wedding anniversary.
Fantastic weekend, Castlebank better than we remembered, would give 6 stars if we could.
Jo and Henrique look after their guests brilliantly.

We loved our stay at Castlebank. Henrique was friendly and very helpful with recommendations for what to do and where to eat. The rooms were spotlessly clean and the cooked to order breakfast delicious. We enjoyed visiting with the other guests in the comfy lounge in the evening and the lovely breakfast room in the morning. The location was easily walkable to all Conwy has to offer.

We had an absolute lovely stay at the Castlebank Hotel. Jo & Henrique are wonderful hosts, they make you feel very welcomed. The room was cozy and had everything you might need. The breakfast was also very good and freshly prepared. Should we ever return to Conwy, we will definitely stay at the Castlebank Hotel again!

Just returned from an excellent 2 night stay at the Castlebank Hotel.
The hosts Jo and Henrique cannot do enough for you to make your stay comfortable and Henrique was very attentive during breakfast. Good conversation, good breakfast, and enough coffee as you need to set you up for the day. There is a selection of what you would like included in your breakfast which is brought to you at your selected time to a table in the dining area.
Have included some pictures of the views from our room, we stayed in room 3 which was just above the lounge / breakfast dining area including the side view of the castle and walls of the town. It was spacious and comfortable. Plenty of tea, coffee (decaf and caffeinated) and sugar provided with both semi skimmed and whole UHT small milk pots.
The only thing I could say is a negative is the walls and floors are quite thin, understandably due to the buildings age. You will be able to hear muffled conversation, footsteps from rooms above or when a neighboring room flushes a toilet or turns on a tap / shower. This wasn't a problem for me and my wife, but may affect lighter sleepers.
The Hotel itself is literally across the road from the town walls meaning we didn't have to drive at all to reach anything Conwy has to offer. If you enjoy a good walk, plenty of shopping, good food, great views and the history of the town, I highly recommend staying at the Castlebank.

Had a wonderful stay. The owners and staff go out of their way in looking after their guests. We stayed in Room 5, which had a comfortable King sized bed. Quality and plentiful breakfast. Conwy itself is very picturesque with historical attractions and good selection of amenities. We stayed in June and the room got very light around 4 am, we felt that the room could have benefited from blackout curtains or blind but this didn't affect our stay.

Great value for money and very friendly hosts!:) Breakfast was plenty and good selection. Bathroom floor could have used an extra wipe but overall very pleasant stay:)

Just back home after a lovely stay at the Castlebank. We have stayed on a number of occasions and always feel welcomed. Jo and Henrique are wonderful hosts.with really good local knowledge. Rooms are comfortable with everything we needed. .Breakfast is well cooked with locally sourced products. Access to local pubs and restaurants within walking distance and a good view of the walls.Thankyoi

I had to find a place to stay at short notice when my father was hospitalised nearby whilst on holiday. Henrique was so kind, found me a room and was very welcoming, kind and flexible.
The bed was super comfy to collapse into, the breakfast home- cooked and delicious, and I felt very well looked after.
A charming place in a great location with great hosts!
Would definitely recommend. Other guests were mainly exploring Conwy and surrounding sites and the beautiful countryside. Will definitely go back to explore Conwy in different circumstances.
