Fantastic pub with lovely friendly staff. Food is delicious so we will often come here when eating out. Love the bingo on a Friday always a great atmosphere. Highly recommend ??????????

We booked a table for later on in the afternoon on a Sunday afternoon, so they knew we were coming. The kitchen is supposed to close at 6, but upon arrival, the waiter said that the kitchen had already been cleaned for the next day but would ask the chef if it was too late to eat- we were on time. The Sunday menu looked good on paper, but when the food came, it was disgusting. The beef was dry and over cooked, the gravy had clumps in it, and the vegetables tasted salty. The fishcakes were crispy, and quite honestly, the size of the portions was huge. So by the time we'd finished eating, they wouldn't serve us dessert. I'm not one for complaining, and I didn't say anything to the staff because the waiter was really nice, I could tell he felt a bit awkward? But honestly, don't waste your money eating here. Horrible!!

Mike and Annie and team have changed that place so much and really pulled it out of the roots and turned it into a classic local pub with extras well done guys!

This dogs home is now shut. No pubs in mochdre now.May 2023, shut again. June 2024. During the last couple of months an employee at this pub has taken to regularly parking on the pavement outside. There is a large car park and on road parking, which is ignored. As this action blocks the pavement for the people actually living in this area, the workers at the pub should not be surprised to hear that an increasing number of locals are disgusted with the attitude shown; and will certainly never use the pub.

We booked the Mountain View for our grandads awake, £650 for the food which was 2 trays of food and curry also chips or should I say uncooked . . Would not feed 5 people let alone 50+ , We was that embarrassed to the family that travelled down we ended up ordering a huge kfc which was cheaper ? be advised do not get these to cater for food for an event! Kids wasn?t allowed to play pool or even go on the varanda nothing for kids constantly got told of for playing pool. It?s a funeral and your staff are just rude. It was for 2 hours could of made a effort,
