Disgraceful customer service. I rang to query a new medication dispensed for my son as i found the instructions somewhat confusing. The lady who answered the phone listened to my query then i clearly heard her shout to the pharmacist that i was "ringing to moan about the prescription". The pharmacist herself was somewhat more professional in her approach but informed me that they had spent twenty minutes trying to decipher the prescription and it had been dispensed as they understood it. Surely a two minute telephone call to the doctor who issued the prescription would of resolved any misunderstanding and saved everybody time and confusion. All this is after a forty minute wait for the prescription to be filled. Its such a shame that the chemist part of morrisons colwyn bay doesn't match up to the excellent customer service adhered to by the rest of the store.

Morrisons Pharmacy is quite convenient, especially if you happen to be shopping in Morrisons, and it also has convenient opening hours including staying open until 7pm in the week. However it's let down by a lack of customer service training. The "work" area is behind a low wall which customers can see over and which conversely means staff must also be able to see customers over it. However often when you arrive at the counter the staff behind the wall will ignore you. They may well be busy doing something important and it might be reasonable for them to carry on doing what they're doing but there's nothing to stop them acknowledging that you're there and letting you know that they'll be with you as soon as possible. Instead you have to stand there waiting for someone decide it's time to serve you which leaves you feeling you're an inconvenience rather than a customer. Personally I'd suggest you go to Boots instead where the service is a lot more friendly.
