Local fantastic, friendly pub with great food and brilliant staff. I moored up again this year and had friends with me and had no hesitation in suggesting we visit the pub because we have always been welcomed by staff and the locals.
I arrived a bit early ahead of my friends and there was a young lady on her first day being trained by another colleague, I had met the owner on a previous occasion so I know that she will be trained in the same way.

Always a warm welcome at this lovely pub. Hosts are great and bar staff friendly and efficient. Dog friendly too and our dog Gin always recieves lots of fuss and attention.

Definitely a locals pub and loved it, good selection of drinks,very well staffed, and with plenty of seating front and back of pub. Lovely beer garden at the back ?.

This is simply the best - and the awards they have achieved bear this out
.. friendly, accommodating, flexible and the landlady is simply the best, treats you like one of the family.
On top of that they have regular events that are suitable for the whole family, you couldn't ask for better from your local!

Today a group of 4 of us. We hadn't booked, but staff were so friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed a lovely tasty Sunday lunch, very reasonably priced, great value.
