Had a really great meal last night. I had the Chicken Tikka Persian Wrap with Mayo and Hummous. Absolutely delicious, and didn't need to order chips as a side as the wrap was plenty big enough. Service was great and attentive and not too pricey either. Will definitely go back as the menu is pretty extensive.

Lovely staff, cosy interior & very nice seating area outside. Just had a coffee this morning as it was too early for lunch but the menu looked delicious.

Gorgeous bistro, we had the king prawn and avocado salad with fries and pink coleslaw- it was delicious, very big portions and the king prawns were very tasty. Staff were very friendly and helpful. There is a big menu from sandwiches, jacket potatoes, salads and regular meals. The prices are very reasonable.

Well we like pub-grub for our evening meal when out on the canals, but three bars failing us in this respect in Chirk all recommended the Castle Bistro and it didn't disappoint. Hearty portions of deliciousness for all of us meant clear plates throughout, it was too good to leave any. If you like mushrooms try the paoched chicken breast, just awesome.... don't expect to manage a pud after this though, I had a fab glass of Shiraz instead to cut through the cream!

Accommodated without a booking. Chef happily provided a vegetarian Sunday lunch, which was so appreciated, and so enjoyed. The Caribbean chicken was divine.

Visited for the first time last night. Nothing was too much trouble even though the lovely staff were extremely busy!
Food was lovely, a mixure to suit most tastes - fish and chips was great and a delicious treat!
At least 3 different areas to reserve and be seated for food - The Courtyard setting is lovely as was the room we were seated in - a group of 8 of us fitted in easily and we were set away from the main sitting area which is great is you want a quieter setting (for those who are autistic or with kids etc.)
Newbies visiting from out of area, please note the car parking is free (behind the restaurant next to the healthcare centre, not the pub car park (you'll be charged if you park in there!)
A really lovely place to visit and eat - Can fully recommend.
Will definitely return..

Thank you so much for accommodating us for dinner yesterday evening we had moored up near Chirk and had this place recommended to us and it didn't disappoint. There was 10 of us we all had something different to eat, I'm not gonna lie the menu choices made it hard to choose. All the food came out at the same time and was absolutely delicious. The service from Lucinda, Jessica and Lauren was amazing. A five star for a five star restaurant. ?????
