I don't know what's happened to this store this past year, it's gone downhill badly. It's dirty, low on stock, shelves have out of date stock and they have old food everywhere. The wheel along baskets are truly disgusting. Pull your socks up and clean the store!!

Thank you Lidl and Parking Eye for your help and understanding. Love shopping at Lidl. Quality is much better than the other big supermarkets. The steak and beef is perfect. Was a bit depleted today but think that?s the effect of Christmas and New Year. But got everything that we need. Keep up the good work Lidl.

Good store. Good parking area. There is a good range of fresh produce and bakery items. Prices are reasonable. Nice European selection of items. They have weekly food offerings from different countries through the year. Eg spanish week etc.Land was bought for a new store, but haven't seen any progress.

You have to carefully check through receipt as discounted to clear items often go through at original price without the cashier staff noticing/bothering with it. This is easy to miss meaning Lidl get to charge original price on supposedly discounted items.

Not a bad shop. However, not sure why I'm stood at a till waiting and being acknowledged my staff, just to be ignored and for them to carry on messing around with something another staff member wants to buy.

This review is centred around the staff at this Lidl. The most hard working people I've ever seen. If they're not re-stocking shelves, they're dropping everything to help out on tills. The staff are awesome. Friendly and helpful every time I go in. But they could do with some extra help. Pretty much everyone in the Bulwark area goes to this awesome Lidl. Even more than the B&M down the road and Tesco down centre. To the regional team that looks after this Lidl. I give you 2 stars. You guys need to support the staff here by giving them higher wages (for the genuinely awesome work they do here), but the extra staff they desperately need. 6 tills and I've only seen 2 open at any one time. They staff here need help.

No one is doubting Lidl is cheap and it has potential to be a great store but it just pales in comparison to the big and decent supermarkets. I shop here once in a blue moon and every time I do I regret it, as life is too short to queue for 20 mins for a few items. Lidl doesn't even cross my mind as an option and I live a walking distance from it. I just can't take Lidl seriously as one of the top supermarkets until it can install some self-service tills or actually have a few people on the tills. Tesco may be more expensive but I'm in and out. The bit that annoys me is I'd love to shop at Lidl as it'd save me money and fuel, but I just hate queueing my life away. Every. Single. Time.

Chepstow Lidl Clearly understaffed, yet again in the double figures of 13 people queuing and stood there looking at 4 empty tills with boxes stored on them. I?m not blaming the shop staff, it?s the strategy of head office keeping the staff to an unacceptable level where the customer is waiting for 25mins and the staff have got an attitude due to the position they?ve been put in of being overwhelmed and then having to confront angry customers. Either employ more people (Wilko just closed locally so there?s experienced people out of work) or put self service tills up in the space of the unused tills(prefer more staff). There?s been several times I?ve driven in the car park and exited straight away due to the time I know it will take. Losing patience with the place and it?s a shame because the produce is good.
