Charged an extra 100£ following mot to ''investigate'' a front brake vibration. Just to be told it looks good... Which I already knew since they are new... Otherwise fine I suppose.

Car Failed MOT on items I new it would , Quoted me a sum of money which I thought was very reasonable to get a 14yr old car through it. fixed it in good time and actually charged me under the quoted price. Extremely happy with the work, thanks people

AVOID. They see women coming a mile off and will charge for nothing.Had an MOT at this garage , advisory says there is an oil leak. Took back and was told they would look free of charge. To then be charged £50 for leaving the engine running 30mins and still couldn?t find the oil leak.Avoid these at all costs there are far better garages in Chepstow. They didn?t care to help at all despite me questioning the above.

The mechanic refused to replace my alternator on my car because the after market cables to my battery were in his words ?too thick.? He said it was a fire hazard. I tried to explain to him that the thicker than stock cables were installed to handle the amperage? so less of a fire hazard. He couldn?t understand it and refused, probably without any knowledge of what he was talking about. So driving my car back from his shop my car broke down and cost me £218 to get it recovered on the side of the road. Turns out it wasn?t my alternator at all? it was the crank pulley? Cheers ?. These guys are cheap, but not very good.
