Unimpressed by the chiller cabinet and main door being cleaned and the entrance hoovered while we sat alongside trying to enjoy a quiet cup of tea with the paper. At 3.30 pm...not even as tho it's a few minutes before closing

Always a pleasant atmosphere, consistently good drinks. Cakes are delicious but a bit on the expensive side.

The coffee was decent, the staff were nice, it looks nice and comfortable but the sausage sandwich wasn't the best.

Really nice space inside with a great selection of cakes! Service was spot on, although the queue was rather large to get served.

Chepstow has suffered greatly from the demise of a balanced shopping experience - an experience that has become quite tawdry. As a result we tend to use Cribbs - warm, clean, easy (disabled) parking and out of the inclement weather or Amazon. Or if we want a town experience we drive to Malmesbury. This though tends to suffer from an excess of dog excrement on its pavements which inevitably is transferred to my car boot via my wheelchair wheels. We needed to visit the opticians and M&S in Chepstow on this occasion and found that the former had curtailed parking to one hour - difficult when one is disabled - and not quite what one expects (its normal to expect three hours) or really customer ficussed - but at least they have proper checkouts with real people. The optician proved extremely helpful and we did find a disabled parking space not too far away. Difficult to get out of though when it came time to leave. As we had a good half hour to kill we decided to grab a coffee and as we always use Coffee one in Malmesbury we decided to give it a go here in Chepstow. Bit of a disappointment though: coffee reasonable - pain chocolate good - cleanliness shocking - especially with COVID and flu on the increase. No excuse at all - and I watched an operative piling up used crockery and other assorted detritus into a plastic bowl completely ignoring the muck left swimming on the table. Null Point.

Had yummy porridge with soya milk, blueberries, seeds and maple ? syrup ? with a pot of peppermint tea ? Polite, efficient staff. A nice quiet time for me to write some Christmas cards ??Dietary restrictions: Have alternative milks available.
