The gentleman in the heel bar was very helpful and pleasant. He stayed late to engrave a 70th birthday present and replace a battery in my car key fob. Great service and a lovely man.

Have had good service in the past, but this time I'm very disappointed. I ordered an engraved disc for my dog, told it would be done by the end of that week as he was waiting for a delivery. I agreed to pay for it there and then. Big mistake - nearly three weeks later and I'm still waiting. Every time I go in he tells me he's expecting a delivery that day and would give me a call, on many occasions I've attempted to go in only to find that he's very often shut. And on no occasion has he tried to phone me with an update. I would like a refund please - I could have had it done in Tesco but was trying to support a local business.

Horrendous service, took 3 pairs of boots in on Saturday 12th and was advised they would be ready by Monday 14th. I advised at the time that I would not be able to collect until Saturday 19th and the guy said that was not a problem. Upon collection today the 19th , the same guy had no idea where my boots were, I had to point out to him where they were, he obviously had not marked my boots up with my name or number which I gave him previously and then I was advised he hadn?t done them after waiting a week !!! furthermore, the worst of it all, at no point did he apologise. Absolutely disgusting service and I will never go back.

Had a few excellent experiences getting keys cut and more recently a pair of shoes repaired rescued. Less than half the price quoted by Thompson and a fabulous job.
