7 of us booked a table on the 19th of july and werent dissapointed , the fish and chips were delicious,which two of us ordered , our grandsons steak was done perfect so was my sons burger and fries , the chicken keebabs with salad was another lovely meal , the two children had home made chicken nuggets which they loved , we all enjoyed our meals and the staff were very helpfull , it would have been lovely to see a pasta dish on the menu also a steak pie my favourite , also a curry option vegatable or meat curry would be a lovely addition to the menu , but apart from that the food was delicious and we will definately be eating there again and would recomend it as a great place to enjoy a lovely meal

Resonable prices, pint wasn't the best I've had, no local ales for some reason, it's a pub in Wales and the only ale was Doom Bar.
Staff are not a happy bunch, wouldn't go again.

We had a fabulous Sunday lunch carvery. The meat was tender and plentiful, lots of fresh veg cooked to perfection. Staff were busy but always friendly and helpful. Would definitely highly recommend.
Position overlooking the beach was just wonderful.

Home cooked food, did not enjoy my meal at all, chicken in garlic mushroom sauce. Served on a great dollop of mashed potato with a few veg absolutely drowning in sauce, couldn't eat it. If you are looking for fine dining, this is not it! Would not return.

Went here twice while on holiday and they were the best meals I've ever had. If you have the opportunity, come here, you will not regret a thing.

Nice views over the beech .. food was amazing and freshly cooked.. shame about the service. Very basic especially when sign outside says family's welcome. Didn't make it welcome at all.. no interaction just serve and pay.... they seemed more chatty with the locals though...

Went in here for a meal last week while away on holiday. The staff were very friendly and the location and view were amazing. The food was exceptional. The fish and chips was the best we've ever had as was the chicken and mushroom with white wine sauce. A definite must if you're in the area

Me and my family, and my sister in law and her children all just been for a carvery. Phoned at 1:30PM to see if they could seat 10 of us. On short notice Sat us at 3:30PM.
Loads of options on the carvery. Everything was cooked to perfection ?. Would highly recommend. And within walking distance of Pendine Sands if your staying on site (which we are).

After trying 4 other venues to find a place serving food on a Thursday evening, we found The Springwell Inn. Despite all the tables in the restaurant area being full they were able to accommodate us in the bar area. We were well looked after and left with full stomachs!
