Still up to standard and in fact even better.
I last reviewed the Mansion House five years ago and this visit was for our daughter's birthday meal, something that has become a tradition even though I've not reviewed here 5 years.
We were welcomed by the owner, had a very pleasant chat and then shown to our table which was laid out correctly with pristine white table linen and spotlessly clean cutlery.
My daughter and I had scallops for our starters whilst my husband had celery and courgette soup. The 3 of us were really pleased with our choices and thoroughly enjoyed. My husband had fillet steak as a main course which was cooked perfectly, medium as requested. Our daughter had lamb which was tender and I hope that is still on the menu when we return. My daughter said the lamb was melt in the mouth and so tasty and she really liked the pea and mint gravy. I had opted for chicken which was really moist and tasty. I'm not a lover of chips normally but would definitely have these again! For dessert my husband had the creme brulee, unusual as it was done with rhubarb. He really liked it. Our daughter had the treacle tart , whilst I had a trio of icecream. Both of us were pleased with our choices. Coffee to follow finished off the meal nicely. Our waitress was pleasant, very good and delivered the service with a smile. So, all in all - faultless. Stunning views as well just make it the most perfect of places.

This beautiful place is worth 6 stars
Gorgeous setting, superb food, excellent staff. The owners are on hand along with the manager (Wonder Woman ) They really work incredibly hard to make sure your visit is the best experience.
My daughter and son in law chose this as their wedding venue and without doubt it made for a truly amazing unforgettable day.
The rooms are absolutely stunning along with the whole inside area. Very clean

5 star prices with 2/3 star service. Sunday Lunch 12-July-2025. Stunning views, lovely Manor House, plenty of space in dinning room. Sat down for lunch, had pre drink outside. Menus came up, and I asked for wine/drinks list. Waitress arrived to take order, asked again for wine/drinks list. Still no wine/drinks so went to bar area again to ask. Was told 'sorry, we are having a few problems'. Finally some one came and took our drinks order. Food arrived shortly after, still no drinks. Wine finally arrived over half way through meal with an apology again, 'sorry, we are having problems'. When you are paying £58 for bottles of wine, you'd expect it to be delivered before the meal, not over half way through. On to the meal. Plates were luke warm, as was the food. Had to order extra veg as not enough for 4 people. But must admit, the quality of the food was excellent. Lamb was lovely. But the other bottle of wine that was ordered, A Shiraz, did not need to be put in a freezing cold ice bucket.

Absolutely stunning location and delicious menu! 2 of us needed gluten free and we had 3 courses! Sadly that's unheard of these days ! Great service and we just wished we lived closer than kent to revisit more often ! Thank you Mansion

Evening wedding was beautiful,drinks were expensive.
Walkability: Not a place you can walk to, so had to book a taxi which had to come from Carmarthen cost £25 just to take us a mile down the road.
