“An absolutely wonderful dining experience; managed to get a table on a Tuesday last minute. The food was brilliant, really well done & the service was friendly & informative. The setting was intimate, but cosy enough with a lovely atmosphere. Having wanted to come for such a long time, it was definitely worth the wait.

“We had the most wonderful stay here - beautiful surroundings, spotless and comfortable rooms and a warm genuine welcome from the hosts. Perfect for a peaceful escape with stunning walks right on our doorstep. 5 minutes drive to pendine beach which is dog friendly. We look forward to returning some time in the future. I last reviewed the Mansion House five years ago and this visit was for our daughter's birthday meal, something that has become a tradition even though I've not reviewed here 5 years.

We were welcomed by the owner, had a very pleasant chat and then shown to our table which was laid out correctly with pristine white table linen and spotlessly clean cutlery.

My daughter and I had scallops for our starters whilst my husband had celery and courgette soup. The 3 of us were really pleased with our choices and thoroughly enjoyed. My husband had fillet steak as a main course which was cooked perfectly, medium as requested. Our daughter had lamb which was tender and I hope that is still on the menu when we return. My daughter said the lamb was melt in the mouth and so tasty and she really liked the pea and mint gravy. I had opted for chicken which was really moist and tasty. I'm not a lover of chips normally but would definitely have these again! For dessert my husband had the creme brulee, unusual as it was done with rhubarb. He really liked it. Our daughter had the treacle tart , whilst I had a trio of icecream. Both of us were pleased with our choices. Coffee to follow finished off the meal nicely. Our waitress was pleasant, very good and delivered the service with a smile. So, all in all - faultless. Stunning views as well just make it the most perfect of places.”

“7 of us booked a table on the 19th of july and werent dissapointed , the fish and chips were delicious,which two of us ordered , our grandsons steak was done perfect so was my sons burger and fries , the chicken keebabs with salad was another lovely meal , the two children had home made chicken nuggets which they loved , we all enjoyed our meals and the staff were very helpfull , it would have been lovely to see a pasta dish on the menu also a steak pie my favourite , also a curry option vegatable or meat curry would be a lovely addition to the menu , but apart from that the food was delicious and we will definately be eating there again and would recomend it as a great place to enjoy a lovely meal”

“We arrived in Laugharne on Monday early afternoon it was lovely to get somehere to eat . We ate lovely sandwiches which were accompanied by a small portion of chips and salad.”

“We had lunch here after having spent the morning shopping. The service was excellent. The lady taking our order double-checked what was gluten-free on the menu and also reminded the kitchen staff to ensure there was no cross-contamination. The jacket potato with bacon, beans and grated cheese had a lovely side salad with it - and was delicious. My husband had the chilli with his and said it was delicious. Diolch yn fawr!”

“Lovely wood cabins in a peaceful location. Clean and warm pool with enough size for a good swim, Spa and sauna. Nature walks with stunning views. Stable yard provides drinks after 4pm, shop with bare necessities. Restaurant. Games room, DVDs on loan. Books available.”

“Had an overnight stay for our daughters 2nd birthday as we were taking her to tenby zoo for it, and the staff at the hotel went above and beyond. We was so overwhelmed, when we arrived they put a card, balloons, cupcakes and drinks for her to enjoy. We cannot thank you enough, made it memorable and we will definately be coming again soon, thank you so much!!”
