What can I say such a wonderful experience.I went with my partner and we stayed overnight, lunch, had dinner, two bottles of lovely wine, carva, and two small glasses of wine which was just under £300. Yes it's slightly pricey but honestly with all that it comes in at really good value. We sadly went there when the weather was horrible so I would recommend going when it's a bit nicer weather as a walk on the beach and having ice-cream would be the lovely icing on the cake we couldn't get, but we plan to go when the weather is nice. The staff and owners are the most lovely people you will ever meet, they made us feel welcome the moment you get there, they are all pretty relaxedFood: I highly recommend the Popcorn cockles and Welsh lavavbread (I normally hate lavavbread) but all the dishes were amazingDrink: treat yourself to a glass of cava to start your meal and the albrino is perfect as a bottle or a large glass with your food. We also had a rose but I thought the other wines we had were slightly better, but ask the owner for a more in-depth knowledge of wines and what would be better suited for your tastes.Room: the room gets very warm, and the shower was a bit small for a 6ft guy haha but it had great pressure and we got some lovely Welsh cakes as a welcome.I look forward to coming back and making it a home away from home when we want a little get away.

What a fabulous dinner this was! Teej (formally of Curado in Cardiff and Ultracomida) and her amazing team have done wonders in this small village, and Inn at the Sticks is just the perfect place to get away for the evening and have a nice night with quality, original food and drinks. And the rooms were excellent too - comfy, clean and well priced!AND there's a deli for drinks and food to take away too!!Highly recommended!

What can I say xxAfter asking and hearing everyone talk so highly about the food, staff and decor of Inn At The Sticks, I have been following them on instagram for quite a while now so I booked 2 rooms for our friends and us.We checked in at 2 pm, were welcomed like family and had drinks at the bar.We went for a lovely walk to the castle with amazing views. Then back at the pub we discussed the menu and the specials, asked advice and ordered several dishes to share and taste.Delicious food, by far the best in West Wales at the moment. We felt the passion about their food, pub and service from everyone. Then we sat by the fire on the sofa in the Deli and played cards and drank lovely wine. Our rooms were also lovely and comfortable, breakfast was delicious with 2 courses.Thankyou so much for our experience and tasty food xxx

There's new life in the old inn.....Llansteffan's charm isn't just in its serene walks and dog-friendly beaches. It's in the culinary rebirth of The Inn at the Sticks, now under the dynamic Teej, a culinary wizard.Who's Teej, You Ask?For those unfamiliar, Teej was the heart and soul of Curado in Cardiff. Known for her warmth and deep knowledge, Teej was a familiar, kind face to many. But little did we know of her hidden culinary talents, which she has now brought to with Debs and Mel to The Inn at the Sticks. What's new at the Inn?Walking into the revamped Inn, you're greeted by an array of small plates that pack a punch of flavour. Who knew carrots could be this exciting? We're talking about Yorkshire puddings the size of a baby's head, a selection of carefully chosen Spanish wines, and dishes that leave you longing for more.Their smoked trout is a revelation ? hot smoked trout served with celery, apple, and caperberries, all brought together with a tonka bean and sherry vinegar mayo. Not our average dish of choice. Then there?s the brisket of beef, served with a gigantic Yorkshire pudding and those unforgettable carrots. Not to forget the cottage pie, a warm belly hug after a fighting through storm Isha.Let's talk desserts - because at The Inn at the Sticks, they're a serious affair. The Bara Brith sticky toffee pudding with butterscotch & tea sauce and the Penderyn Merlyn cheesecake are not just desserts. They are a celebration of Welsh heritage and flavours.Teej and her team have brought a bit of that Spanish flair from Curado, intertwining it seamlessly with local Welsh charm. The result? A culinary experience that?s both familiar and exciting, fresh and new. The Inn at the Sticks isn't just about the food. It's about that warm, welcoming feeling and that's down to the team of strong, inspiring women at the helm, the Inn isn't just a place for a pint (though their ales are still as delightful as ever); it's a destination for food lovers. Add to that their cosy rooms and the charming deli, and you?ve got the perfect spot for indulging in good food, sipping on cracking wines, and taking those serene coastal walks.Croeso yn nôl ?
