First time dining at Dexter's. Great atmosphere, if a little dark inside dining.
Good menu, plus the steak options.

Great Friday / Saturday venue. We stopped off for a wine on a Thursday afternoon and it was quiet there.

Food was nice I cant take away from it but I just found that I have had nicer for that sort of price. I wouldn't want to put people off this establishment but I just think it didn't suit me.

Food was great but certain staff were very unhelpful and miserable especially the women on greating. Don't think we shall come back to carmarthen shall stick with Laugharne for better service.

Came here on the first night of our holiday and also a little one?s birthday of the same name as the restaurant. Service was excellent from the moment we arrived, food was exceptional and they even provided a small birthday treat for the little one!
Could not have asked for a better night. Thank you so very much!

This is a true steak restaurant, through and through. I will be dreaming about that steak for months. The staff were brilliant, the location was really straightforward to get to. A reservation is essential as it was fully booked on a Wednesday evening, I even saw them turning people away who were walking in. Always worth checking I suppose but a reservation I would say is essential.
But did I mention the fillet steak? Cooked to perfection, such a wonderful flavour, I didn't want it to end. Plus with Mac'N'Cheese and prawns on the side...I'm considering a 200 mile drive back there just to go again.

Lovely setting. Perfect for a romantic meal or with friends. Tables are staggered so as to have privacy and the candlelit touch added a nice ambience.
The lamb dish and double burger were incredible, followed by coffee and fudge.
Not the cheapest of menus but you get what you pay for and that's the memory which will last! Staff were very attentive and the food came out in a reasonable time.
Can't wait to return! :-)
