The owner, what an absolute gentleman; went in for a brake check, pads removed, cleaned, anti squeal paste applied, all in 10mins. The work shop is a proper old school mechanic?s dream ? Highly recommend

Don't know how to really start this review. So many complexities.Was recommended by a work colleague and halfords in regards to getting my e-bike repaired.Called in to get my derailer fixed /repaired... The owner came across polite and suddenly to an obnoxious attitude. Quite rude and abrupt.Discussed the price £25-£30. Was assured it be ready next day.Next day no part available. Iv shorted the chain he said so can take away and still ride, £10 please. Bring it back. Il fit derailer, relengthen the chain. Same price minus the £10.Couldn't bring the bike back next day due to working hours. Phoned him up to assure I still want my bike fixed and il drop in Monday.no proplem was the reply.Popped in Monday he was closed. Sign on door, closed Mondays. Why say pop in?Same week /this week dropped the bike off Wednesday,also asked can you do my brakes. Pick up today £100.67.Two brake paps front and back derailer which originally would of cost £30 explained the bile needed a special one. And new cords etc. So why didn't phone me to explain all these extras /price before he done it. 3 hours work £50 labour..He is a arrogant bullshiting cone man. £16.60 an hour he charges.I'm gutted I didn't speak Welsh to him. It would of more likely lowered the price.Sorry for the indepth review. As a Google reviewer with over 200.000 views and my record of 20.000 for a burger review.. I felt this guy completely toke the piss. You have a discount if you speak Welsh.I give him a zero stars. Said he fixed my seat. He didn't. Went over a curb and the seat swiveled and smashed my balls. I'm tamping and honestly would love nothing more than to kick him in the balls. Conman at its finest.

This team understand bicycles. And no-nonsense approach, 'a bring it in when you can", RESULT perfect service and a great result. And reasonably priced. Parking outside just off the main road.Look forward to an excuse to go back again and get another bike serviced. Probably my wife's! Call me if you need any more information.Best wishes Tim

took my wifes trike down there twice to be fixed paid on both ocassions and the problem still existed charged us to fit new wheel bearings and when i took the trike somewhere else to be fixed the wheelbearings in his opinion had never been changed new bearings fitted now and not a problem after a few months of use dont trust this crook wouldnt trust him with a wheelbarrow

What a great bike shop! Thank you so much for your time and attention to my Timmeeee E bike and the front gear changer. Loved the way you took the time to investigate and straighten it and then come out on your own E bike and lead us through Carmerthen on a beautiful sunny morning and put us on the better way to St Clears. I called in on the off chance that he could straighten my wheel. We were passing through. The wheel was beyond repair, but he changed it and put my old tyre on and replaced my broken brake cable. The man is a legend and a gentleman. How bike shops should be. Can?t recommend him enough.

I visited this interesting little shop while passing by on a road trip. Well worth a look in here especially for their collection of unusual & classic bikes.Not the widest selection of parts in the store but everything is very functional. The owner seems like a very experienced cyclist & mechanic who most likely can fix any bike you?d bring to him.Glad I popped in here. A fascinating old school shop that?s worth a visit if you?re in the area.

I was travelling by motorcycle with two friends when one of our bikes suffered a clutch cable failure. This happened close to Beiciau Hobbs Bikes and the business owner offered to assist even though this is a bicycle business. Tools and a cable were provided to help with a temporary repair. Whilst not bicycle-related, I wanted to highlight the effort and service the owner went to in order to help us out. Thank you for your superb service!
