This is primarily a restaurant , with bar/ lounge and letting rooms. There is a good sized carpark for guests use.The family run business offers lovely food using sizzling stones to cook a great selection of fish , steaks etc at the table. The service was excellent both for dinner and breakfast. Our breakfasts were cooked to order and very good too. The breakfast is pre ordered the night before and a time slot is also arranged. Our twin room was a reasonable size and the ensuite bathroom with walk in shower was very clean , a good size with spotless towels.Some toiletries are supplied as is a hair drier. The beds were comfortable with spotless bedding. There was a fridge in the room, kettle and TV.

We had a very enjoyable 3 night stay very nice rooms a good full English breakfast and location was great for our visit of friends in Llandygwydd and a good base to visit New quay and Aberaeron . Car parking at hotel nice friendly staff and a well run hotel we did not have a evening meal but was available + cosy bar area

Food is absolutely first class, prices are also great.Cook your own stake. Meat is top notch, chips are freshly cooked veg spot on.Really cannot fault, visit everything I'm in the area.

Stayed one evening with my husband on visit to friends- (was spur of the moment thing) On arrival was impressed by the building of Flambards , also with the lovely hanging baskets ! Mac the proprietor was friendly & informative and showed us to our room ( was very comfortable with all amenities) . On the evening we went for our meal -menu choice was exceptional also had in-house menu.. restaurant area we were greeted by Louie ( Mats son ) who was lovely funny & explained the whole sizzle & sear experience to my husband (who was a bit apprehensive) however the whole experience was first class , food excellent and plenty! In the morning we had full English breakfast cooked perfectly by Macs wife again food was delicious, we would like to thank the whole team for a wonderful stay we only hope to visit Flambards again very soon . Visited this weekend with my partner and family. Was a wonderful stay with clean rooms and very welcoming hosts. The breakfasts in the morning were lovely to wake up to with very attentive hosts and fresh coffee! Would recommend to anyone staying in Cardigan!

Lovely hosts who made us feel very welcome. Rooms very clean and nicely decorated. Food delicious - both at breakfast and in restaurant for evening meal. We loved the hot stones cooking experience! Would strongly recommend this hotel!

We were made so very welcome at Flambards and all our communication beforehand was dealt with very quickly and in such a friendly way that it really made us look forward to our stay. The rooms, as all the hotel, were spotless, fresh and comfortable and the whole atmosphere was welcoming and relaxing. We enjoyed a drink in the lounge before dinner and then thoroughly enjoyed a delicious Sear and Sizzle meal in the restaurant. The food presentation was beautiful and it tasted just as good as it looked. The Vegans were really well provided for as well as the meat eater and we all thoroughly enjoyed the sear and sizzle experience. Mac and Louis were such lovely hosts, making such a happy, relaxed atmosphere for us and in spite of us only being able to stay for one night they made us feel we were properly on holiday. Breakfast was fabulous too. We'd love to go back one day and it's so convenient for trips to other wonderful places like Cardigan and New Quay.

Not a hotel but a bed and breakfast. Bar and tea rooms closed and restaurant need to be booked 24 hours in advanced. Village has a shop and chip shop but no other amenities.Room very clean and comfortable, staff friendly, breakfast amazing. Dog friendly in some rooms.Poppit sands, Cardigan are nice to visit, White Heart Community pub lovely which is about 5 miles from Flambards.Rooms: Very clean and comfortableFood & drinks: Breakfast lovely
