Lovely friendly cafe with an unpretentious, slightly battered vibe. Second hand books line the walls in the cafe section while downstairs there's a cellar music venue and second hand records.Coffee and Welsh cakes for £3 is great value and the service is friendly and efficient. A genuinely lovely place to escape the rain on our first visit to Cardigan. Dog loved her free sausage.

Neat little breakfast followed by a large mug of filtered coffee...after spending the previous evening in the Cellar Bar underneath the cafe in the basement watching some top bands rock tourists and locals alike....friendly crowd, great banter and ace bar staff...Will return ?

Very nice people and amazing little record cave downstairs. Food fine but a little focus on quality would go a long way. Bread seemed to be supermarket budget, fine if that's what you're expecting. Seems to have some good local custom and genuinely care about their customers.

The best breakfast in Cardigan in a quirky cafe served by a wonderful team. There are second hand books to buy for a pound and dvds for two pounds.Very quickly everyone knows your name and your order. It?s like sitting at home but with better service and no washing up.I wish I could go there every day. A traditional British café and tea room at its very best.

Visited today with my family of five and four dogs. Sat outside on a table that worked perfectly for us. Very nice touch: sausages for the dogs. The food was simple and delicious. Beans on toast hot and proper beans. Cheese on toast with absolutely tons of lovely cheese was a big hit. Quiche felt home made and came with a very varied and tasty salad including coleslaw, potato salad and pasta salad. Ham sandwich in fresh thick bread - ham was thick cut and breaded. Side salad with samdwiches fresh, crunchy and colourful. Very reasonable price and friendly service. Good understanding of the needs of dogs ans their owners! Books and other stuff to browse inside which I will do should I ever return without hounds.Vegetarian options: Plenty of them: I always nite as am veggie.Kid-friendliness: Lots of snaller dishes and nothing too complex and fussy for kids.Parking: We parked in a big pay amd display just down the hill.
