I'm disabled so I struggle to make it to public toilets, I asked if I could use the toilet,There is a sign outside explaining that toilets are for customers only however It was a toilet emergency, the door security were compassionate and understanding as were the bar staff. Amazing atmosphere, friendly and compassionate staff. Complete opposite to next door at the Crockerton where I was refused assistance.

They've stopped serving food now and why I don't know They've taken the kitchen out for no reason whatsoever even if the ran a small menu like egg and chips or sausage and chips would make a difference in my view not even a coffee machine anymore

I just go drinking with my friends & Yates is a nice quiet place to sit.However,recently they've adopted a no food to be served on their premises. Whilst there,I witnessed several persons come in then left.One of my friends included.Its a sad sight & I'm sure it has seen a reduction in guests especially with a new pub opening nearby.

Ciy centre nightclub/sports bar. I usually avoid it in the busy periods. Fairly quiet during the day with basic pub food menu. The food isn't too bad being similar to Henry's bar around the corner. Both Stonegate places but Yate's slightly cheaper, presumably as it's not waitress/waiter service. Good for a quick meal and not too expensive for nowadays.Improved since my last review. Mainly because it's empty most nights. The staff are really lovely.

Nice quiet bar in middle of Cardiff. 10pm on a Saturday and was not heaving. Nice change for a city centre bar

I can?t fault Yates it?s a good value for money restaurant. I work close by and they have good deals on at lunch. I?ve had the smothered chicken and the bbq chicken wrap both were good and decent portions

bouncers where terrible and rude id?ed me and my friends fair enough but kept questioning us, they are walking round like they own the place makes us very uncomfortable. food and drinks are over priced and music is old school. staffs attitude is terrible giving looks and evil eyes. drinks take awhile i don?t appreciate this service on a night out.

This place actually saved our game day... Our 1st attempt for lunch fell through... Which pretty much dampened our mood (everywhere was packed).. we were about to give up on lunch.Chance would have it.. we came on the the Yates!They welcomed us and ensured a nice lunchThank you Yates !
