Recently purchased a car from Kia Cardiff. James was friendly, approachable and knowledgeable about the car making sure I felt comfortable on the test drive answering any questions. He wasn't pushy and no pressure to make a decision on the day. Great service. Having recently experienced a very stressful time with my previous non Kia/Wessex car, the process of replacing my car was fast, efficient and stress-free thanks to James and the staff at Wessex. A great all round service. Would highly recommend.

Don't understand why there are all five stars in here can only imagine because they are not verified must be family and friends bought a Kia Sportage from Kia in Birmingham 6 Months old 6000 miles on the clock broke down 6 weeks later engine had to be rebuilt ? Had it for 3 Months ( no courtesy car supplied) had to go through my finance company to get me one ? The Woman I was in contact with Mrs or Miss Wessex downright rude !My finance company spoke to her and said the same so it can't be just me got it back 2 weeks later clutch was giving a strong burning smell Took it back again they said nothing wrong .Drove it another 2 weeks clutch packed up RAC ( who obviously knows More then these people said it was the clutch ) so they replaced it after some arguments in the phone ( again no courtesy car) Now here's the part they don't tell you if you go over your service schedule and something goes wrong you will pay dearly for it My cars engine is now completely toast They would not give any paperwork with what they did to the engine ,,? They said because it was under warranty they don't do it because its free ? Engine played uo again to which i found out they replaced a broken crankshaft and the fault is in one of the cylinders The Saansea branch said its nothing to do with that ( considering it's connected to it) but funnily while it was in for its check I got a courtesy car from Swansea ? Miss wessex insisted they don't do that .So to round off I am left with around £25000 pounds to pay for a car that is fit for the scrap yard .Going down the legal route to which the Swansea head technician said they would laugh at I have worked in many garages and have a degree in engineering I don't normally complain but all I can say is don't buy a Kia they are expensive for parts ( google it) not to mention parts can be delayed for Months and as the head technician said the hybrids are very temperamental ( he won't say that till after you sign your finance deal) Terrible mechanical workmanship and in my view their dealerships i only hope their dealerships don't last long i see people on here who said of there was 10 stars they would click it unfortunate i cant click zero stars because there isnt one Ps Cloe in the Swansea branch was the only decent staff member i met till her technican told her to stop talking and come inside she was showing me the courtesy car ( i thought the customer comes first)(definately not with this company i can assure you )!!!

Exemplary ExperienceI travelled from Wilshire to Cardiff to purchase a brilliant Kia Sportage from Wessex Garage. Initial contact with Gareth Hopkins to answer queries etc. on the Friday. Subsequently, on the Tuesday, Tom finalised the sale. Overall, it was a really good experience that other establishments could copy. It was good to be greeted as we entered the showroom, all colleagues were approachable, smart in suits (not trainers, jeans and bobble hats as I have experienced in other establishments). This established a trust and good feeling from the start.Tom was very professional with a good customer skills and manner. He was knowledgeable about the car and keen to demonstrate the features. Paperwork was explained at every stage and he makes a good cup of coffee. Tom with his enthusiasm, knowledge and attitude is an excellent ambassador for Wessex Kia Cardiff as is Gareth.Some confusion over the actual car delivery date was quickly and efficiently overcome with all departments pulling out the stops to make immediate delivery happen to drive away back to Wiltshire. From the minute we walked into the showroom they were very helpful, we dealt with Donovan he was so helpful and down to earth and helped us immensely. Once we decided on a car Donovan was so nice and helped us every step of the way. While we were waiting for our new car he kept in touch with us and up dated us regularly. The best experience ever in purchasing my new car ?I first met Donovan Weise, last year, when I was thinking of part exchanging my Kia Sportage, which I had loved for the past four years (also bought from Wessex Penarth Rd, as were my previous 2 vehicles)No longer needing such a big car, was uncertain about my next purchase!Donovan was brilliant, he to the time to find out about my needs and preferences, as well as test driving various models.I chose the Exceed, in the most amazing colour Spirit Green, and ordered it for the 1st March 24 (new reg)Donovan contacted me regularly, with updates and actions I needed to take.When I collected my new car on the 1st of March I was made to feel very special, with a proper unveiling and bubbly (non alcoholic)My experience from beginning to driving away exceptional, and I know that the aftercare will be tooThank you ??

We recently enquired about a EV9 and James couldn't have provided us with a better first-look experience. He was friendly and knowledgeable and at the same time he showed us respect and patience.Unfortunately, the same can't be said for his colleague who took us out on the arrive and drive experience a week later. I can't remember his name, as I'm unsure he actually introduced himself, but he did say that he covered the Newport and Cardiff branches.. However, we found him to be quite rude and abrupt - the service he provided felt very rushed, and it seemed as if he was eager for us to leave as soon as possible. This was quite disappointing considering we were hoping to place an order that day and choose Wessex Kia Cardiff as our preferred supplier.However, I won't let that reduce my score based on the fantastic service provided from James and other staff members in the Cardiff branch (included Dan who I think was down from Bristol). I would be happy to work with or recommend James in the future, so a big thank you to him!We have placed an order for the EV9 through a different dealer as their professionalism carried throughout.

Booked a test drive and car was ready when we arrived. Dealt with sales Exec Tom Pritchard over the phone and during test drive. Everything about the car was well explained and test drive about 1/2 an hour. Wasn't quite sure about the model we drove but he suggested a cancelled order with a different engine that could be available tomorrow. Came back next day, loved the car a got a fair price. Trade in price on old car was what was expected but ended up selling elsewhere for more which they said was an option if I wanted to. Organised pick up next week.Would definately recommend as nothing was too much trouble and no hard sell.
