I walk in in the evening during visiting the area. There's no customers, I order a beer, amstel £3, win. Attentiveness good.
Ordered a bit of food after 4 beers, wings and chips, good price, good food.
Floors abit sticky but I know, currently working in the trade, there's been an issue with cleaning chemicals with a changeover.
I walk in next day, also quiet, during the whole afternoon, I'm 1 of 3 sets of customers in 3 hours, new menu, good food. Staff attentiveness - good. Only issue kids, walking in willy nilly, played pool, sat for ages no purchase of any soft drinks,.drinking from their own juice bottles, and canoodling, completely free to do so, without staff noticing.
The surrounding area is busy, so there's no foot traffic issue, pop in later in the night, also quiet.
I don't understand.
Good beer choice, for a great price, good menu, good food, good decor, friendly staff. Wheres the custom. 2 days visited, both in various parts of the day including open, afternoon, evening and close, and low custom. It's baffling.
Hope it picks back up, for the sake of the industry

Paige (bar staff) made my partners birthday the best he has ever had. She danced with us for a minute before we left and made sure we were sorted the whole night. She is truly a walkabout secret star and deserves a raise ! Thanks Paige so much for making the night the best it could?ve been!

Me and my partner the only customers there played 4 games of pool and 2 pints each then asked how long we planned to stay...
Being valley girl and bar maid by trade ask why all the questions as we regularly dri k and play pool mid week..... Management can't give reasons only they have lost a friend today which tbh anyone can understand but no reason to refuse custom who haven't done anything wrong...
Can honestly say feel peduced for being from valleys and not towney from cardiff so note to all from anywhere other than Cardiff all female staff are crap only decent member was Josh but not about today....

Had bottomless brunch for the first time there last night and the service was excellent! The drinks were amazing, the staff member Paige was so friendly and truly made our night a great one. Definitely will be going again!

I booked two lunch tables for a group of 14, we arrived and the tables provided were small and not able to fit 14 dining comfortably. Regardless, we ordered food, but due to a fryer issue on that day, it took over 1hr 40mins for the food to come out. Two of the 14 meals never arrived. The food was great (when it arrived) but it was a spoiled experience.
Vegetarian options: Veggie and vegan burgers were offered

Ordered on the app, had a mixture of the small plates and then a side of chips. The food was amazing, pretty quick coming out and very reasonably priced!! Would 100% come back for food, I wasn?t sure what it would be like but it was really good!
