Very disappointing mothers day at cardiff garden centreWaited 1 hour for Sunday lunch which was cold and also nearly 1 hour to pay for some plants. In the end we put them back and came home. No apology or explanation from any of the staff. Will not be going back for a long time.

Lovely place, however the till weren?t working in the cafe. We were told they have been down all day. Seemed such a waste of good food as they couldn?t sell them. I don?t know why they couldn?t go back to the old fashioned way with pen and paper?!

Will wait until the active revamp of the store has finished before we visit the coffee shop again. So busy and plenty of staff but they seem disorganised. Coffees only took almost 25 mins to arrive. Quality good as normal but just the wait may not suit everyone.

A satisfying alround visit. Beautiful displays and quality products. I only wish my house and garden could complete with the iconic gigantic spade.

This place is fantastic. Topsoil was cheaper than b&q and the staff are always knowledgeable. Tom was v. helpful in steering my spring gardening plans.

The staff seem to be not hugely knowledgeable in the houseplant area, and beware of pests.(i got 10 plants, 2 out of them turned to be infested with thrips and fungus gnats that I only noticed when I brought them home - luckly I was already knowledgeable enough to know to not introduce new plants to my collection right away but quarantine them away for a while)My advice to beware of that and reasearch yourself as the help will unlikely be adequate.4 stars feedback is for the choice of plants and overall quality of majority of plants that are healthy.EDIT:REPLY to Owner - Thank you for your reply, I highly appreciate it.Thrips were on Kalanchoe Thyrsiflora and fungus gnats were in Croton Petra - both I bought on 17th Dec 2023.On my last visit I also noticed somone crawling at the bottom of little Alocasia Cuprea (in the far corner where Dracaenas, Alocasias and wall with lots of large pots), some kind of little fly. I'd place my bet for it to be fungus gnat, I didn't get this plant as , whoever that was - it kind of scared me. ( I'd be glad to be wrong, but currently after that my experience in Dec. I'm extra careful and I don't buy a lot of plants I otherwise want as I'm being extra suspicious). Many thanks!

Wonderful help from Louise in the house plant section. Listened patiently to all my questions and helped with advice and knowledge. Went above and beyond and will now be my go to for all other questions and queries! Thank you.
