Great Wetherspoons just near the train station. We sat outside - plenty of people watching! Service was good, staff were friendly, huge range of drinks at great prices. WiFi was good and although we didn't try the food, what we saw looked good.

Visited the Great Western after the night of our lives at Catfish. We got 7 drinks served in jugs and not once but twice did we go back to the bar. We heard rumours on the street to make The Great Western Great Again & it seems the prophecy has come true. Long life Catfish & long live the Great Western!

Food was alright and priced great. Service was excellent, quick and helpful. Unlimited refills in coffee and tea but quality was low.

Sat night I went in with my husband went out to buy a hotdog came back the bouncers would not allow me back in I?m 56 was not drunk at all but they allowed all the pissed 18 year olds in past me they put me as a lone female in danger as I had no phone and they would not let my husband know they would not let me in absolutely disgusting I hope they don?t treat their wives like this anything bad could have happened to me I didn?t know why when I was allowed in 5 mins previous what had changed from me popping out think bouncers need better training lots of people have had same problems reading previous reviews

Love this wetherspoons! We did our shopping then as always nestled in here till time for our train journey home as we always do.
Staff are always friendly, good pub grub and a bottomless tea pot and a good old natter!

The breakfast at Wetherspoons is always ok, but this breakfast was fantastic. The bacon was lovely. It?s normally griddled, limp and very thin. But this bacon was quite thick and slightly crispy. Everything was done to perfection ! ?

One should stir clear of the American Burgers. Patties and buns were dry. On the bright side the place is ideally located with nice atmosphere.
