Lovely atmosphere and fantastic food! Service was exceptional and very polite. Food portions were also very generous. We had the donbori chicken, the yaki udon, and the avocado maki rolls. Everything was really tasty, especially the donbori chicken! Definitely recommend the place.

Amazing customer service, a lovely bubbly, friendly and smiley waitress who tended to us and asked how the food was and made sure everything was ok. We ordered edamame, fries, two kinds of sushi maki - spider and tempura. I really enjoyed the starters and tempura sushi. Just a tip if possible to reduce waste is maybe have soy sauce on tables and allow customers to put how much or how little. Otherwise a sweet Family owned restaurant that I wish the best for you and all the success.

An unfortunate disappointment. Don't be fooled by the high reviews; they were clearly made before the restaurant changed hands. I was initially excited since I'd heard such good things, but those were for somewhere that's clearly gone.
There's a reason it's always empty. I'd steer clear if I were you. Food's fine, but horribly overpriced. Atmosphere is non-existent, and the service was lacking.
It's a Zombie Shop. A corpse of a far more successful restaurant that's changed everything but its outwards appearance and it's prices.

Second visit to Tenkaichi and I can say I'll be returning again. Despite being quiet and small, the food is exceptional. For those wanting to "Try it all" the bento boxes are truly the way to go, and the sushi never fails to be exceptional.

Went in there unexpectedly tonight. Went with my partner and as soon as entering we were welcomed with a warm greeting from the staff. Food was better than we expected it to be and the it was a rice dish forgot the name was delicious and highly recommend. Maki roll was also tasty. I would highly recommend this place. One of the best Japanese food places in Cardiff.

Food as always - exceptional! I love the veggie donburi (what do they put in that sauce??? so sweet but so good!)
Ramen dishes are also a big favourite especially the ones with the dumplings in.
The service is great. Always welcoming and always very helpful with any questions you may have.
I recommend highly!
