“I recently had a lovely experience in the Cardiff store with a lady called Shana. I had been in and out of every store in Cardiff panic searching for an outfit for a wedding that was happening a few days later. I told Shana I needed a bag and she immediately asked what colour and told me she had the perfect dress for me out the back. They hadn’t gone out on the shop floor yet but she knew how well it would match - and it was perfect! She was incredibly kind, warm and smiley. She also signed me up to the member programme so I had some discount off. Really amazing experience - thank you!”

We were approached by a very friendly man asking us if we needed some help we picked a variety of shoes to try on and were passed over to a lovely lady called Liz! Her customer service skills patience and friendliness was next level! She surpassed every level today, even to the extent of letting my daughter use the private bathroom! “Took my mum to freshen her dated wardrobe. She's 88 and a short , size 20 .We were suprised how well stocked they were for a larger size too. Clothes were really good quality and very little money .She ended up buying over 10 extremely nice new tops. My 23 year old daughter loved the younger persons clothing there too.4 out of 5 star just because I fumbled around self scanning at the end , but there's help available if u ask.Matalan impressed me a lot.”

“Christian (I hope I’ve spelt that right?) fitted my child with their first pair of shoes on Saturday morning and he was very knowledgeable and helpful. He brought out a nice selection of shoes in my child’s size and fitted them with care, explaining to me what they check for to ensure the shoes fit ok (including that there’s enough growing room). The shoes were in a nice box for a first pair of shoes, if you want to have them as a keepsake.The children’s section’s on the first floor - there’s a lift that will fit a buggy and a staircase if you’ve got older children.I’ve been to this store a fair few times with my eldest and always been happy with the service we’ve received. I can happily recommend this store to others for children’s shoes.”

“Great Experience straight on the back of a shocking experience at Leckwith. In out and listened to the complaints agreeing that the store was at fault and obviously was very helpful. That's how you manage a complaint granted you had the product needed but you still apologised for the trouble and said you would have completed the refund if need due to the circumstances.”

“I popped into A.G Meek today to get the strap of a heel fixed, needing it done in a short 2 day turnaround (for a wedding). The friendly cobbler (despite being pretty busy) took the shoe from me and fixed them perfectly in 10 minutes! Really happy with the service and would definitely come again for any shoe needs :)”

She arranged a free collection for an online order that wasn't saying it would arrive in time. “Wanted some summer bargains for clothes. Selection was good, style has gone more Ted Baker, but that's ok as it's a bit more stylish in there now.Quality of clothes have improved. Nice fashion, good quality. Not bad if you want some smart clothes with no labels that will last.Shop laid out well, home and clothes and plenty of choice.Had to knock a star off as tills seem to be unmanned and only come when noticed. Problem is, I wasn't noticed for some time. But they was friendly and apologized for keeping waiting.”
