I popped into Screwfix today to grab some screws and a few other bits and bobs, and I have to say?Daniel absolutely made my day! From the moment I walked in, he was incredibly helpful, friendly, and genuinely went above and beyond to make sure I found exactly what I needed. He guided me through the options, explained everything clearly, and made the whole process smooth and stress-free.
It?s rare these days to come across someone so committed to great customer service, and Daniel truly deserves a massive shout-out. Thanks for being awesome, mate?you?re a credit to the Screwfix team!

I went today to purchase a dimmer switch that was rotary not push the gentleman who served me was so helpful and patient great service. Went home bought the wrong one so as I went to refund for the right one the gentleman was very helpful and brought out the one I needed but was a push not rotary so he continued to help me look but was having no luck then a gentleman by the name of Curtis came over to me and said we are very busy turned the monitor around from the till and keyboard and said you will have to continue looking for your self in a very awful attitude infront of other customers which there where only 3 he tried to humiliate me in front of the other customers saying I not the only customer. So I patiently waited until they left asked him to have a look at the operating system which had the option to pick rotary or push switch so explained that if you click rotary all of them on that screen should be rotary he replied to me with I'm not an electrician shocking the other young gentleman kindly brought 4 of the switch which stated on their system they were rotary but when brought out to inspect they were all push Curtis at this stage didn't know what to say now absolutely awful customer service for him considering I was asking for a exchange for the right product I would a a call back from a manager all other staff were fantastic very helpful unfortunately have to leave this review as Curtis was so rude and unprofessional towards me

Worst branch of Screwfix in Cardiff, at least it's the worst for the manner of the staff. Iv'e been going here for years and generally it has always been ok, that is until recently... there seems to be a new (ish) man working there as some sort of manager..? he has a thin greying beard, and his attitude absolutely stinks. This particular staff member will do his utmost to ignore you and pretend that you are not there, and IF he absolutely and begrudgingly has to serve you he does it with an arrogant and aloof attitude... no please, thankyou, sir, madam... nothing... just attitude. There is also a lady with dark hair who has worked there for years and has always been fairly friendly but I have noticed her manner has become a little more surly since this greying beard chap has been here...? Basically, this branch is easy to park at (unlike Llanishen where you take your life into your own hands in the car park outside) but the staff are absolutely rude, arrogant, and unfriendly. (Apart from one young lady with long brownish hair that seems to be there in the mornings... she's nice and often helpful.)

I ve got to say, the young ladies working there are very knowledgeable, been helped twice by female staff and got more sense and help than male staff and also service with a smile, I will really recommend this Screwfix branch as defo the best in South Wales.

Availability is great with screwfix, but always let down by the staff. Go back to the old business model with paper catalogues.I placed an order online for some goods for my business (which I do regularly). Came into collect and asked if I could order some additional items. Only to be told by the member of staff (Bald Head and Glasses) ?Well you will have to go off and get me the code?. He then turned the computer screen round, gave me the mouse and keyboard before walking off to serve someone else.On ALL of my previous experiences with Screwfix, ESPECIALLY for business clients such as myself, the sales person behind the counter would always look to find the product we are looking for. It would be great to have retail assistance with some sort of DIY knowledge but I totally understand that with your vast product portfolio and even wider customer base would make this impossible.However, rudeness and bone idol laziness is the basics of any retail professional. I don?t like working on a Sunday, but their is no logical reason for bad customer service in a customer facing environment.

Not that there?s a bad one, but this is my favourite Screwfix. Always seem to have everything in stock, the express delivery is super useful when working in the city and traffic is chaos. Staff are always super happy
