Wonderful people working here and excellent service. All staff were amazingly welcoming and super helpful. Lorraine especially went the extra mile with her extremely friendly and welcoming manner. Suzanne was also fabulous! Everyone went out of their way to offer one of the the best customer service experiences we've ever had. Amazing. Thank you Santander Cardiff.

I arrived at 14:10 and was told that all advisors were on lunch and would not be able to speak to me on that day (?), so it was best to come back the following day. When I returned and managed to speak to an advisor, they scanned my evidence but forgot to upload the document to my case and so I have to go in again to re-submit. Changed opening hours and the long period of refurbishment made the branch very difficult to access and the app is not yet good enough to act as a substitute.

Awful bank in general. Their app is stuck in the Stone Age and has been made cheaply so reverts users to their website, which then asks you to ring in. Over simple queries like change of details etc needed to access the app.Absolutely backwards and didn?t have the same issue with Revolut who have a much better app which allowed me in instantly.Santander insisted I go to branch with my ID to access my own account. Branch useless and unhelpful historically so I?ll be shutting this account down imminently.

I was served recently by Andrea, who assisted me with deposit and her proactive assistance on savings helped me save and get a lot better interest rate than I currently was on. Andrea was courteous, helpful and understood what would be best for me and assisted accordingly. Great experience overall. Thank you Andrea :)

I am trying to get a hold of the bank to change my credit card appointment as I am unable to attend but so far it has been a very disappointing experience. I haven't got a confirmation email but only a paper card with the date and a paid phone number. I am unable to use a paid phone number and frankly I believe is a bit unfair to give it. The phone number on Google is automated saying you can find everything online. You can't. I have been trying to chat with them as well - nothing. There is no way I can get hold to explain something simple as changing my appointment and that so far has led me to the conclusion that I don't want a credit card anymore. The bank as normal account has been okay. Nothing major as experience but if you are trying to get hold of someone online it is impossible.

Fantastic service from all members of staff on my pop in to set up and enquire about savings accounts. Phil particularly like as a great help whom was able to answer all questions I had, alongside taking all necessary paperwork into his own hands to sort out on site.Very pleasant and easy experience.

failed online and then in branch to open an account for my son (15) even though I have a mortgage with them. I walked around the corner and opened his account at the TSB, it took 30 minutes, excellent service, phone call next day to confirm it had all gone through. Not the fault of the santander branch staff, just poor training and bad systems.
