This used to be a great local shop, but this year, possibly with the start of a new manager, the store was re-modeled and the varity of stock reduced. It really isn't worth going there now.

Little care is taken to ensure the prices on the tags match the prices on the system itself being wait we pay for. I ended up being £1 over accumulated from miscounted items. One example being beef mince 5% lean marked proudly on the shelf as £3.99 but is ACTUALLY £4.09 and after my simple shop adding up everything exactly as I go I end up a large chunk short on the till itself compared to what it should be via basic math, which is rather humiliating; inconvenient and if it?s not somehow an accident that slipped by every staff member then it certainly looks like a way to bait people into paying more when they swore they knew the price when they got to the till, and this could not go down well with the elderly, or anyone more vulnerable for that matter

This review is to highlight the excellent customer service provided by Robert! I had low blood sugar and I walked in looking confused searching for a drink and he quickly took me to the drink section and handed me sugary drink and quickly put it through tills so I just paid and didn?t have to stress about anything else. It may not seem like much but what he did was life saving!

staff are alright brought a salad for 2.20 whilst on the reduce sticker it said 1.75 and in the salad the cucumbers were slimy

Some of the worst service I have ever received the manager at this branch was so rude her name was Amy, it was almost like if I bothered her because I asked a question.
Really rude condescendant and ignorant....
She probably had a bad day and want everyone else to have one as well.
My money will go to a company that makes a conscious and concerted effort for customer service and where the expectation isn't that the customer goes the extra mile.

Convenient Store which is open for long hours. The stock variety for a local store is decent.\\n\\nI was informed by a manger, the Nectar promotions can't be used at Sainsbury local stores, which i found to be a negative.

A local convenience store located in Albany road. Friendly staff and a good number of self service checkouts as well as a manned checkout/cigarette kiosk. Most essential items available here and some bakery items.
