This is a fantastic charity who help provide accommodation and a safe space for families with children in hospital. If you get a chance to put some money in a charity box at McDonald's then do it. It all goes to a fantastic cause and had been a massive support to our family

Thank you so much for letting us stay. Was a lifeline whilst our son was in the NICU. Just over the road, friendly staff, excellent facilities and easy access. The only downside was the very loud fire alarm test every tuesday morning! Ronald McDonald house made the very difficult time with our newborn so much better and stress free, so thank you to all involved.

This place is invaluable for parents of ill children in hospital. It allows you to stay only a few feet from the hospital entrance so that you are only a few short minutes from your child if there is a change in their condition. The charity provides accommodation for parents who may live a long distance from the hospital (for us it was 65 miles from home). Without the accommodation they provided we would have either had to spend £50 a night b&b / driven 130 miles a day / slept on the ward with no facilities for a shower or to wash our clothes. The staff are also incredibly approachable and understanding. They genuinely care.
