Staff were very polite & helpful, Location was good with access to transport links - good welcome upon check in & clear directions given - corridors clean , room was good value for money and clean but could do with touch up in some areas, shower & toilet room little tight fit but shower was good. Easy access to onsite pub for food & drinks - vending machine also available - only issue for me was Pillows were a bit flat but it didn't ruin my stay - will stay here again though

Rooms are tired and need a spruce up.
Pillows flat as pancakes which made sleeping difficult. Having asthma I need my head raised.

15 mins from the centre of Cardiff by car but half the price of other similar hotels a bit nearer.

Carriageway immediately at the side of the beer garden so immediate and certain deafness is included for free.
Utd have received warmer welcomes than a City derby when arriving at the restaurant.
Slow and painful, dull and demoralising service.
Struggled to make a soup like mediocre porridge in the morning and I could hear complaints from the kitchen when asking for it.
On a positive note there were plenty of parking spaces and the bed was comfy.

Cardiff East is one of the older Premier Inns, and as such, it shows.Also, many are twin rooms, SMALL twin rooms.The service from staff, as usual, is great. But as I have said before, the previous attraction of getting a nice, crisp, fresh room is fading fast. The bathroom is ridiculously cramped, the toilet is almost in the shower, a couple would find staying in these rooms challenging.

A slightly odd experience. I booked late for last minute Bruce Springsteen tickets and arrived slightly early for check in so room wasn't ready. But was shown to room and allowed to drop off bags as taxi waiting to get me to the concert. Got back late to hotel and was let in by other guests. Thought it odd room wasn't locked. But it turned out i wasn't properly checked in. Found out next morning hotel had assumed I was a no show. Once misunderstanding cleared up, staff were very courteous and understanding.Rooms: Comfortable and clean.

Ideal location to attend a wedding, service from staff was very good, the food was varied and well cooked. Was disappointed with room.

Very friendly & welcoming staff, and quiet room despite being near a main road.Really needs some paint and some new pillows, I had to fold mine in half as it was basically non existent ? Despite this the room was absolutely spotless ?

Rooms are the most tried I've seen in a Premier Inn. Needs fresh paint and the veneer of the wood is peeling in places. Needs a refurb.
Clean and functional as you'd expect, and a comfy bed. Friendly staff.
