I was met with an abrupt and rude reception staff member. She was off hand, no care and attention offered. She made me feel like I was an inconvenience. She was so rude and challenging about trying to book breakfast, I ate elsewhere. The team could not manage to offer towels or correct ones during the stay. The bathroom had cobwebs behind the door on arrival and they did not move during my visit. The room was dusty throughout. The curtains were marked with blood. The reception staff that was at check in, was ongoingly rude and made it difficult to challenge or discuss anything. There was no lift, the location was Ok if you are happy listening to traffic all night. You would also really need a car to get around.

The lady on reception went above what we would call good service. Her name is Pamela and an amazing receptionist who represents the brand exceptionally. Pamela attempted to phone another hotel which I have found difficult to contact for many weeks, Pamela had the same dead end as I did, but tried her hardest.

We chose this hotel as we were meeting up with friends and weren?t disappointed. The hotel had a large accessible car park and the restaurant at the hotel was comfortable and very pleasant staff took care of our needs. One of our group was in a wheelchair but this didn?t present a problem as it was wheelchair friendly. The food was simple but well presented and the breakfast was also good. All in all it was a good experience and good value.

Good sized room & very clean. Had free amenities such as parking & WiFi. Staff were accommodating on our very late arrival. Room was well presented & modern. Breakfast was an additional charge, but very nice.

Wanted a comfy room for a break. We got everything we wanted, clean, comfortable, with helpful friendly staff. Restaurant was right next door and served wonderful food with great staff. We'll return again!!

Hotel and room was spotless, bed was very comfy, breakfast was good and great value for money, staff were friendly, free parking with a good location not far from train station and the town. What more could you want. Will stay again.

A great hotel with car accessibility to what was needed. Car park can get a bit busy with the Inn on site too. Clean, spacious room and in generally a quiet location. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Cosy bed in a well maintained room. We stayed here while attending a funeral and the adjoining Pub was where we all met after the service so very handy. No food available at the hotel except out of a vending machine and hot drink facilities available in the rooms. The Ashbrook Pub on the same site was the place to go for breakfast and other meals or drinks during the day and evening. Stripe Key cards were a bit of a bind and staff had to assist on several occasions.

Easy to find and good parking. A warm welcome by friendly, efficient staff who went out of their way to get me an early-booking room on the day when I arrived earlier than anticipated. Comfortable room. Very good food in the adjoining restaurant though it wasn't as hot as it should have been. Very attentive restaurant staff. I will be back.

big bonus was the warm room on arrival better heating than other P/Inns good welcome n good staff good breakfast in nice restaurant n clean rooms overall recommend they all need some kind of heating in bathrooms ? and a plug socket at both sides of bed ?

Nice little shop. The guy who works there usually will order stuff in if you plan on buying regularly. Good selection of items and open late.
