When I went to get my ring resized I was told yes of course showed my ring the lady scoffed and said no we don?t do that here, I was shocked at thus behavior at a independent business. The lady was patronizing regarding the price, although I was happy to pay. She was shocked by this and went to ask the price. When she came back she told me the price in a manner that would assume I couldn?t afford it, I said it was fine and she was shocked again. I paid for the refit there and then as I didn?t trust I would be taken seriously or the same price would be quoted on collection.It?s a shame as the ring has been resized perfectly. Just the experience was overall uncomfortable. In future don?t assume what people can and can?t afford and the sentimental value of jewelry to each individual.

I also had an awful and bizarre experience at Nash the jeweller.I find them very untrustworthy, with awful attitude when questioned.I took two watches in (replicas they were) and wanted to simply transfer one face out of one watch and put into the other watch to make good. A very simple job with a few tools, under an hours work.The 2nd request and the main reason I took it in was that I wanted the watch to be sealed correctly with new gasket seals at the front/rear and at the crown points and to pressure test the watch which Dave said yep no problem, I can do all that and pressure test for any leaks. Ok.. Good. (The pressure test sounded perfect)I then got a text to say your watch will be ready on Thursday (3 days away).I thought ok, a few days away but as long as the watch is sealed properly I don't mind waiting.I went in to collect the watch and pay and he said that's £35, but then continued with " I can't guarantee the seal as it's a replica" Wow ? ( well that's what I was paying for ???)I replied, the price was agreed to seal the watch and this was the main reason as I swim and use it in water. He replied " I wouldn't wear it in water if I was you" ?!?Oh no sorry I can't guarantee it.So Dave, tell me.. what I'm a paying for ??What about the pressure test ? Oh yes that was all good ?? oh ok ?I walked away very confused but held hope the gaskets where renewed and it was sealed ?????Within one day and one shower the watch had signs of condensation so I returned to the shop.As soon as I went in I had nothing but attitude and Nash was telling me to not come back to the shop ever again. Saying we deal with Dave but don't come back ?! Bizarre!!On a positive note he told the cashier to give me all my money back once I said I was going to take the watch to another jeweller to see if the gaskets had been changed.I did take the watch another jeweller who didn't think any seals had been changed. I think this is the reason he was so quick to refund me.They have a real bad attitude when questioned.I have no desire to go back thank you Mr NashI'm not surprised seeing so many poor reviews and similar experiences.The good one are more than likely self written

Not open on Sunday... as advertised, and apparently checked by Google 8 weeks ago. Having walked out here from the city centre specifically (arriving at 2.30pm). Not that happy!

*I would have left NO stars, but the site requires a minimum of 1*I took a few items for repair, agreed the repair cost quoted by Mr Nash, handed over my items, and left with a receipt, expecting a call at the end of the week once repairs were done. Twenty minutes later I received a call to collect my items. No reason given. The lady put the phone down. When I collected them Mr Nash took my receipt from me, ripped it up, then tossed my items on the counter as he walked off. So Bizzarre, so Rude. I asked why. He said he did not like that I had taken a photo of my items on my phone before leaving them. ??? Most people have photos of their jewellery on their family photos, I did not because these are items that I do not use. Why shouldn?t I take a photo of them ? they were mine.I do NOT feel any guilt for wanting a record of the items that I was leaving with the jeweller. This would avoid any confusion in the unlikely event that there was an issue, which would obviously protect the shop as well as protecting me!I will NOT be going back.*I would have left NO stars, but the site requires a minimum of 1*

I have been going to Nash the Gold Smiths for 30years and have always had the best service possible, friendly accommodating and always exceptional value.Christmas, birthdays and marriages always managed to get the best result for our needs.Keep up the the good work Nash glad to have your knowledge locally

Fantastic Service for a new watch and diamond engagement ring. Ring needed re sizing which was don in about an hour. Definitely recommended.

Amazing shop ! Would definitely recommend. Went in on Monday evening to get my engagement ring resized,by midday the next day it was ready for me to pick up. Amazing quality, service and price.

I cannot understand how this business can get negative reviews. I went in today to have my wedding band resized, and it was ready by lunch time. I?ve also asked for a polishing service for my engagement ring, which has been offered free of charge. I?m really grateful for their kindness and professionalism. When I picked them up, I was seriously impressed, as they looked brand new. Having them slide in effortlessly , on my finger, feels like a dream ! Not to mention that they?ve been really affordable, and I was able to wear them straightaway. When I rang Goldsmiths in St David?s Shopping Centre, they advised at least 4 weeks waiting time, which I wasn?t willing to wait, so thanks God that Nash the Goldsmith exist locally.
