Used to like this Lidl but unfortunately they've recently installed self service tills. I had a large trolley (over £100) and although there were still 4 'manned' checkouts, they were all closed. I asked if they would open one and they refused. I had to spend ages manually scanning everything. Filled up one of the bagging areas. Had to pay for my shopping, leave it there, then take up a second checkout while I finished scanning everything. A complete waste of time when there were multiple staff on the floor who could have opened a till and I'd be out in minutes. If I hadn't needed the items, I'd have just abandoned the trolley and left the staff to put it all back. I'll have to shop elsewhere from now on.

Advertised mini oven was not stocked on Thursday 22nd February. Tried 3 stores in Cardiff. Wasted my time! Not over happy. Noticed Pentwyn store?s fruit and veg was not looking particularly fresh - decided to shop for some items elsewhere.

I was forced to wait because I came after school and they assumed I was going to steal . Was a bit rude and had to wait 10 minutes . Not a good experience
