Variety of home cooked curries and rices. There side dishes (pakora and samosa) are home made also. The food has lots of flavor and look forward to returning.
The staff are very friendly and are helpful with any requests (as I like to change something with anymeal when I'm out)
If you haven't tried it before I would highly recommend it.

After a long search in Cardiff, I finally found Lahor Kebabish and it truly feels like a hidden gem. The food tastes just like homemade and everything is fresh. I tried the lamb biryani, which had no strong smell and the lamb was perfectly cooked. Their nehari, slow-cooked for about 6 hours, was full of rich gravy and tasted amazing with butter naan. The mix grill was a highlight with lamb chops, malai tikka, hariyali tikka, chicken tikka, chicken kebab, and lamb kebab?all juicy and tender. Their special chickpeas dish was also delicious. The restaurant has a beautiful traditional décor that gives a warm, cultural vibe, and the staff are very friendly and serve food with great care. On top of that, the prices are very reasonable compared to other restaurants in Cardiff.

Best restaurant standing at the moment in cardiff they have been in cardiff for more than 20 years freshly cooked currys every morning and they sell out everyday
I?ve spoken to the owner asked him why you got 1 star rating they said it was only paper work not filled in properly
I?ll recommend everything on the menu specially mix grill and motton karahi

Food is nice however let down by how dirty the place and kitchen is
1 Star Hygiene rating is really a push for this place
A lot of the curry is cooked the night before which is fine however they could re heat it on the pan before serving, I?ve never seen a curry house use the microwave so much
Food comes to your table straight out the microwave 9/10 times
Tables have never seen a wash or clean before
The menus are covered in grease
Floors sticky
They have a rat problem too probably explains why they just about got 1 stat Hygiene
Don?t help they are right next door to a fishing shop that sells fresh bait ect which probs attracts the rats

We went for a lunch while visiting Cardiff. Overall very good service and food. Value for money and staff is welcoming. They were happy to provide place for offering prayers.

We ordered chicken tikka roll and meat roll. But they served on a nan bread, not rolled. Then, the guy who took our order told us, if we order Chai, we'll get a set price which is cheaper.
When we done with our meals, time to pay. Now.. This is the best part.
They charged us chicken tikka, nan bread and Chai separately. Cunning eh..
After that, the cashier guy made a scene. Claiming that half of us didn't pay our food. In fact, we already paid. After we go thru one by one and we found out that he wanted to double charged us.
Then, he said that we were confusing him.
Now, who is confused?

Alright. Got charged £2 for plain yoghurt as a side. Thought I'd give this viewpoint to share, as it was important to note. I went to pay for my meal and calculated the cost before, so when he told me my meal cost above £30 I raised it with him. Incase you have yoghurt on the side extra, you'll incur a £2 extra charge.That is what I was told by the older man who charged me at the till. The yoghurt that I am pointing out, you can request on the side, as its not on the menu, and I always do. It didn't feel comfortable to experience that from him, and me, as a younger lady pointing out to him that he'd overcharged me. To which he responded that I was charged a £2 for a small bowl of yoghurt. I wonder if what he did was normal, as yoghurt is usually not given as an extra charge. Thanks.

Guy said waiting time is 10 min. Served food after 40 mins and ruined food. Offered to replace with something esle and that too was abysmal. Worthless place. Would never visit again.
