We've stayed at this hotel a few times, although this time around was the first since it has been renovated. On entry we noticed the flooring had been upgraded which I felt was a lot safer to walk on with mobility issues. Once at reception we had a warm and friendly welcome and although had previously stayed at the hotel, the receptionist offered to explain everything again. Once at our allocated room, it was freshly prepared, Clean and smelling well aired. After a lovely evening out we returned to the hotel where we decided to go to the newly refurbished Bar which was lovely, Comfortable and modern, After a lovely and busy evening we returned to our room for a evening of rest which was quiet and didn't hear much of the centres nightlife. we had a great stay and brilliant shopping experience knowing our personal items were safe at the hotel ready for collection. Would highly recommend to a friend/family, Cant wait to stay again.

I booked 4 rooms in the Travelodge off Queen Street, the location is great for getting around the city, whether you are visiting for shopping, sporting events etc. the staff welcoming and all 4 rooms were clean Great bar area for breakfast, snacks and drinks, would use again.

Great quality room and overall hotel. Excellent provisions and really great value for money (last minute additional night was only £30). Great central location and good amount of security during a busy student weekend. Bar staff very friendly and helpful.

Great location, spotless room and pleasant welcoming staff. Plenty of choice in the bar and reasonably priced for a town center Breakfast was plentiful and tasty, with all items being constantly restocked. Would definitely recommend if you need to stay in Cardiff.

Only reason why it?s 2 and not a 1 is the fact that it is good value for money and a good location but the rooms are small and boiling definitely ask for a fan the rooms are basic but clean but wasn?t a toilet brush or any extra towels or toilet paper staff were friendly and helpful just a small room and hot also very loud didn?t know there was a nightclub right outside

Room clean and tidy and everything worked. Staff friendly and welcoming. Excellent central location. Welcoming cafe and bar area. Ideal for a short Cardiff stay such as ours. This is a very good location/ venue for a visit to Cardiff. There are all the amenities in the local area that you need. A gym opposite the front door and a great music bar opposite. A good experience.

Great value. Booked a Sunday night for £30.99. Okay so there was a hair found in the bathroom but that was the only fault. The room was immaculate other than this - the shower was powerful and the bed was firm but comfortable. Staff were super friendly and helpful, would stay here again if ever in Cardiff.

Stayed here for 2 nights. Location is perfect with everything on your doorstep! Rooms are spotless. Staff cant do enough for you, they are very so Friendly and very welcoming with excellent Customer service! Highly Recommend !

Really nice and friendly staff. Very clean. Nothing was too much to ask. Very central and a very reasonable price for the location. Nice food and a good idea having a happy hour in their small but nicely decorated bar. Would definitely stay again.

Lovely refurb done inside the hotel! Staff very friendly & accommodating. Happy hour 5pm-7pm was an extra bonus! Little noisy from the outside but you staying in a central location.Will stay here again!
