The hotel is close to shopping in 2 different directions plus next to the Cardiff Castle. (Take the tour) the room is very comfortable and larger than most city hotels. Quality products for shower. Newer carpet. Very good linens and great bed and pillows. The breakfast is grand - it has everything. The staff is very nice and hospitable. Stay here.

Despite initial worries from Google reviews, my stay at the Cardiff Hilton was pleasant. The front desk staff were friendly, and the lounge bar offered complimentary drinks and snacks, which was a highlight. However, there were some hiccups. Being a Golden member, the receptionist extended checkout until 1 pm. However, housekeeping knocked early at 12.30 pm, and my Hilton app checked me out automatically before 1:00 pm (around 12:50). Additionally, facilities like the swimming pool changing rooms were old, and elevators had issues. The room was cold, but the staff promptly addressed concerns like temperature and provided an extra heater.

Been coming here for years and generally it been good,. However, they have recently refurbished the bar and restaurant area.. service is really slow and they have a mix of reception music and restaurant background music.. the rugby was in one TV with no volume.. place felt completely soulless.. on top of that a double gin and tonic was £18!!!Rooms are ok and location is good?Will switch loyalty to park plaza down the road from now on.Food & drinks: Over priced with terrible service and no identity

Very good, and in the heart of Cardiff. A great stay, only marred by just one lift working, so used the stairs, which are a little out of the way. Great location and a very nice hotel.

Good location, service and room. Pool changing room are dated. Feels a little like the RyanAir model - extra costs all over. Parking £26 per day, Breakfast £24, Room Service charge £5 extra, etc. etc. So you think you?ve found a good deal?.

Very Nice room, but overall the rooms lacked cleanliness.. staff very friendly specially at the breakfast.. but again utensils were very usually unclean.. very good

It's hard to fault hilton cardiff, when the staff here are so great.My only complaint is room 114 is cold at night ( when I use the room ) it's febuary at the room was at 23 all night. Even with the heat cranked up. To be fair my watch thermometer may be wrong.Food is great breakfast good as well, great location and facilties. But what really makes it stand out is the people. That's why it deserves a five out of fiveNoteworthy details: The people here.

Clean, Professional and Great Value, In the heart of the City Center. Public transport is also getting better every year. Everything is in walking distance. Facilities very much like a larger City without the longer commute times. Will stay here again...

This was our first time in Cardiff and the hotel made our stay so much better. For a week's stay, the junior suite was fantastic. The room was spacious with plenty of seating. It's location made walking around the city centre (and points beyond) very easy. The staff was very friendly and polite. The heat went out in our room one night, and we were quickly given a small heater which worked brilliantly. Hotel parking is not actually at the hotel. For parking you have to go down the street, and park in a very tight underground car park below the Capital Tower. It's not too bad unless it's raining and you have rush back to the hotel in the wet, cold rain.
