I visited on Thursday over all a great experience, however I ordered 2 ultimate mixed grills and on both we both noticed that the steak tasted a little sour as though it was past its best, so unfortunately we couldn't eat the steaks which was a little disappointing as the meals cost £54 for both, I did mention it to the waitress who didn't really seem bothered and just said she would let the kitchen know, this is a little disheartening as spoiled meat can be potentially very dangerous. the children's meals were amazing though and the rest of the mixed grill was fantastic if the steak was OK it would have been a beautiful meal.

Me, my partner and our 3 week old baby popped in for lunch on a cold Monday. The staff were very attentive and helpful, making sure we were sat near a radiator for the baby and giving us a larger table to allow for plenty of room. The food was delicious and served with very little wait. I had the half rotisserie chicken and my partner had a burger and both were cooked to perfection. Excellent service and food quality and I will definitely visit again.

Booked a table for 4 and were warmly welcomed. We?re given a nice comfortable table next to a lovely cosy fire. We had steak, chicken combo, salmon and scampi. All our food was excellent and our waitress lovely. The bill was very reasonable too. Would definitely return.

Really disappointed on our return visit for my birthday The vegetarian tart was like cardboard the meat was overcooked and didn?t taste fresh The chicken burger was very fatty The desserts? there was no lemon, no meringue no chocolate was awful won?t return

Incredible service from Bianca, nothing was too much trouble! We came for a family birthday with a party of 13 on New Year?s Eve and the service and food was impeccable, really personable staff and any issue we did have was fixed right away!

Highly recommend Harvester Cardiff Bay, went for a catch up with friends and breakfast. Quick friendly service, manager even stopped for a chat. Warm & Welcoming.

went to harvester in Cardiff bay, made to stand and wait at the desk for 15 minutes as we were 15 minutes early for the table. lots if thing missing off the salad bar, ribs were burnt, sweet corm was soggy mess and unedable. made use feel not welcome as we were one of only 2 tables left in the restaurant kept asking if we were ready for the bill as they wanted to close early. raised a formal complaint with harvester only to be told "they investigated and the manger at the restaurant they did not see any issues" they then ignored my follow up emails and refused to communicate with me.

Very busy on a Thursday night but to be expected especially with the 40% off mains, yet the team engaged with us well. We went for a birthday and kindly put in a few candles in our desert at our request. All staff were really friendly and the food was excellent a great atmosphere all around !
