Ordered tyres online at a great price and booked fitting at my local branch.I had a hassle free experience and also had a free brake check as I thought my pads were low but they advised that I still had plenty of wear left in them.A quality and honest service which has convinced me they are an honest garage to deal with and I will use them for any work I need done.

Very friendly and efficient staff. Very polite. Took my daughter's car there and the man at reception today was extremely friendly and polite. MOT and repair done quickly. I'd recommend this branch.

First time needing a change of tyres for my upcoming MOT and really enjoyed my experience at Halfords. The team was knowledgeable, friendly and in less than one hour from leaving my car I got the tyres swapped for new ones. 5 stars. Definitely recommend.

absolutely poor service. I took my car in for an aircon re-gas. I was told it would take about 2 hours. On my return in 2 hours they told me it wasn't ready yet. As it turned out they hadn't touched it. I will never use them again and would not recommend them to anyone.

Long waits, receptionist is a lier the place is not worth using. 2 front tyres and alignment took 3 hours on Saturday, due to a seized nut had to bring the car back on Monday as they never had a technician to deal with the nut. They received this at 11am and the car was then available mid afternoon Tuesday
Poor service from a major brand
I certainly won?t be in a rush to go back to Halfords

I left my van for an MOT, but it failed! I was quoted £270 for replacing the left track rod end. I couldn't believe the price!
When I picked up my car keys from Halfords and mentioned that their price was four times higher than another garage's, the employee just smiled. I called another garage nearby, they quoted £40 for labor. I bought the part for £21, bringing the total to £61?£209 less for the exact same service!

Absolutely unacceptable ? I dropped my van off at 9:00 AM, and by 3:30 PM it still hadn?t been looked at because they were waiting for a ?van technician?. I waited a week and a half just to get this appointment, and had to cancel several jobs as a tradesman. All they could offer was ?we?re short-staffed?. I collected my keys and won?t be using their services again.

Avoid this place. I was lured in by a ?free? MOT through the motoring club (now cancelled). My usual trusted local garage was fully booked, so I gave Halfords a try?big mistake. They failed my MOT on minor issues and quoted £400 for repairs. My car was making noises after they failed the MOT. My local garage later fixed everything for under £100 and confirmed the issues were minor advisories at best. They also confirmed the bolts have been loosened (My local garage had tightened these few weeks ago) so I suspect some foul play was done while my car was at Halfords, but I unfortunately can?t prove this.
Also When I returned to Halfords for a retest, the mechanic didn?t even inspect the car properly (didn?t put the car on the ramp to check underneath but he passed it) I?ve learned my lesson?stick with honest, local garages. The technician name was ?Malik?

I was really expecting more from Halfords given the premium prices they charge, but unfortunately, it was a letdown. The services offered are incredibly basic for the amount of money they ask. There?s nothing special or exceptional to justify the high cost. You?re essentially paying way more than it?s worth, and the customer service doesn?t make up for it either. I won?t be returning ? definitely not good value for money.
