Morning, lunch and mid-afternoon peaks recommended to avoid. Especially if you want a sausage roll or specific type of pasty!

Small little shop shame no seating area indoors or outside. Staff all kind nad friendly fab customer service. Lattes nice and hot , breakfast rolls good for the price.

Great food and staffBig thanks to your staff member Aaliyah who chased after me and my colleague all the way back to the van last week with my bag after I left it in the shop. She saved me from a right old telling off! On top of that the food was great nothing cold or stale like some other Gregg's so well definitely be back to this one

This morning my daughter went into this shop for breakfast rolls and hash browns, she asked for a sachet of sauce for the hash browns and was abruptly told No it?s only for Vegan Sausages!!!! A few weeks ago the same happened to me, same miserable woman only this time the sauce is only for chicken. I for one won?t be using this shop any more, all the other staff are fine, give you sauce and a smile.If she hates her job give it to somebody else just don?t be rude!!

Purveyors of sausage rolls, parties, ready made sandwiches, doughnuts, cookies, soft drinks, tea and coffee. Nothing wrong with any of it - but exciting it isn't.

I was at Gregg's yesterday and a lovely member of staff named Chelsea was cheerful, polite and attentive. She even packed my bag. I was putting sugar in my coffee and I told Chelsea as I'm disabled I needed to sit down and she immediately got a chair for me and put it outside where I was able to rest and eat my sausage roll and drink my coffee and Chelsea came out to check on me and gave me some serviettes. My only gripe is why they have removed the table and chairs for customers like me can use them. Every coffee shop, bakery and restaurant in Merthyr road has a seating area bar Greggs

A very lovely new little place, it's a pity that there is no Welsh. Nice, new store with all the usual Greggs goodies and plenty of seating. Pity they still won't make any use of Welsh next to a Welsh Language school!

3 years after my 1st review, it's still as great as ever. The staff are great (and I visit this place at least 3 times a week), so I don't understand some comments saying staff are rude... THEY ARE NOT AT ALL RUDE! I'm guessing the people saying that are actually probably the rude ones. The queues can be long between 7 and 8am because they are popular because they are a good Greggs.

I love this Greg's.The only complaint I have about it is the shop is too small.There is not enough room for the customers to move around and collect their goods.
