The lady was very rude. I went there for a free hot drink that we get on downloading the app. I tried to click a picture of the drink after she gave it to me with Greggs logo in the background. The woman working there was extremely rude and said "We gave you a free drink but you dont have to be a photographer" gave me rude expressions and went back inside before I could tell her anything.
Don't advertise free drinks if you dont want to give them!

The lady who is in service sucks. She had very bad attitude towards customers. Will never go back. Management should focus on their staff as well.

pretty bad, came in with a gift code that I had been gifted from my parents, it was a number code an not a barcode and it said to show it to the staff and they would know what to do. Apparently not. The woman serving kept saying "we only accept barcodes" and I'm there like yeah but it says that you'd know what to do, but she was rude and insitent. So I reluctantly payed normally, they were stone cold, and I had asked for a chicken bake and she had given me a sausage and bean bake..? so not great

I have been hesitant to visit this branch due to prior rudeness on several occassions, I was served today by a very happy lady I believe her name was kortny, I wanted to try the festive bakes and they had just run out kortny apoligised not a problem put some in and we even chatted on about the year going fast.. greggs new festive newbies (which led to me also trying the festive baguette and new muffin) yum. Sounds daft but she cheered my day by her wonderful customer service and just general kind happy approach she made my prior rubbish off putting experience a forgetful one ?
And that's coming from someone who doesn't believe in reviews !

Just got a cappuccino from Greggs on Albany Road and she forgot my chocolate so I passed it back n told her. She says did I ask for chocolate I'm meant to ask for it. Scolding me like a child in front of other customers.
Some staff are lovely, others not so much.
Also food is usually cold here.

The majority of the time this Greggs has a good selection and with quick service even at busy times. However there is one supervisor Ann who is miserable and very rude and barks at customers in the store and regularly roles her eyes and is rude to other staff in front of customers. Even at one point another colleague took over from her because she could see how rude she was being and making the customers uncomfortable.

Was really looking forward to this branch opening back up after closing for a while however the service is shocking. The older lady ANN who works there is intolerable! so bloody rude every single time. Me along with many others I know will walk double the distance to go to a different greggs branch simply because of how unpleasant the staff are at Albany. Shame ?
