The only reason i gave it a two star is because the young girl who served us was really helpful and friendly.
The food was embarrassing, I used to eat at Frankie and bennys A LOT a few years ago, my god have they made some serious cut back and it shows terribly. We sent back the two chicken parm pastas, the chicken was the cheapest blandest fried chicken I?ve ever had from a restaurant a the pasta was bland and tasted terrible. They try charging £16.75 for that monstrosity, my local Italian charge £13 for fresh pasta cabonara or bolognaise and it?s incredible.
The pizzas used to be amazing and are now cheap anaemic undercooked, most likely frozen dough.
The chips were undercooked. We had a platter for mains the ribs were ok but the chicken strips and wings honestly didn?t even taste like chicken, it was so bad.
We ordered a kids strawberry and a kids chocolate ice cream for 2 kids they put it in one bowl mixed them together, honestly don?t understand the thought process.
Overall massive shame as had great memories of Frankie and bennys back in the day but I will never give them another chance as it was sooooo poor in quality, it?s no wonder stores are shutting left right and centre. Sad
