Visited Fat Hippo with colleagues to celebrate. Sadly, it was not a good experience. Welcome was good and we had a nice table in the centre of the restaurant. There was no tap beer available but a decent choice of bottle and canned beers.Food - burger choice was OK. We placed our orders, after about 10 minutes 1 side arrived...

First off, the food was great and tasty. But we waited a very long time for our food. We had booked a table at 6 pm for a group of 11. It took close to 1 1/2 hours for food. We had gone through 3 rounds of drinks on the table, and no classes were collected during that time.Staff were friendly and did try and make our experience...

Slow service, waited 25 mins for our starter which was simply chicken wings. They arrived and the oil clearly needs changing as they were nearly black and overly greasy. Mains took another 40 minutes to come after that, onion rings arrived burnt to a crisp no onion left inside, replaced within 30 seconds with cold ones...
