Lovely store. Not enough staff. No member approached me in the 20 minutes I was in there. I left and ordered 2 sofas from Oak Furniture land instead. PS I ordered samples from DFS head office nearby 10 days ago and they still hadn't arrived. Not impressed.

The selecting and buying process was OK. Staff at the store were helpful, and there were no problems.Sofa is very comfortable and has made our home feel much better.My gripe is the delivery.Had to pay £100 for delivery to have awful customer service from the delivery drivers on the day. With one of the drivers even starting to become aggressive. Not what you expect given the cost.There were issues parking their lorry, which were then expressed at us. Comments of "If this was anyone else you wouldn't be having the sofa" made us feel very uneasy. Until DFS change their contract for a different delivery company, I would buy with caution. Especially at a charge of £100.

Do yourself a favour and don't bother ! find another company.Everything was fine, the purchase delivery but then we had a fault.The after sales service is zero. to date i have lost count of how many emails and telephone calls I have made to them, all i want is an update on the reported faults on the three seater and two seater sofas....Prime example of we have your money we don't care now !!! Appalling Honestly.

On June 19th 2023 I visited the Cardiff store with my son we had a really good look around and I found a sofa that I really liked after a long discussion with Paige the sales girl on shop floor we signed all the paperwork and I paid a deposit now 26th of August I have no sofa as the one I chose has disappeared (Paiges explanation to me) in mid july and still no refund. Reasons I've been given are because Jones is a common name it's harder to find on the system also the refund was going to take upto 12 days now 21 because of a backlog and if I phone ain before 72 hours I'll be put back the end of the queue highly do NOT recommend

Served by Zeena who helped us choose our sofa. Not pushy at all and real asset to the store. Highly recommend a visit here even if it was just to get some ideas for colour schemes etc as the store is laid out perfectly

Please don?t order from this company, we paid out nearly £600 upfront and over 10 weeks later we still don?t have our order and no firm update from DFS on when it will arrive.We went in to store and bought a large cuddle chair to match our sofa that we previously bought from DFS. We were advised by the salesman David that we had to pay the full cost upfront which was no problem (nearly £600) and was advised the chair would arrive in ?up to 7 weeks? this is also stated on the order form. It?s now over 10 weeks since we placed our order, we have no chair, and no updates from DFS. Don?t waste your hard earned money on this utterly poor service.

The lady that served me in the store was lovely. Delivery was ok but they sent me the wrong cuddle chair and footstool. After sales is very bad I have emailed and rang and no one comes back to me. Would NOT recommend.

Although very slow sending fabric sample for my mother-in-law (after purchase but prior to delivery), wanted to commend the two men who delivered the sofas (2 seater & 3 seater) to my M-in-L today. A bit of a trek from the vehicle but no problem for these fellows. They set everything up and even moved some furniture back to original spots (which we had moved previously to allow access) for my M-in-L. Well done.

Such a shame to be giving this poor rating, however it?s a true reflection of how I am feeling right now. I was sold a sofa, and informed the cushions were part of the order, in fact I even upgraded to pay for a patterned pufet which matched the cushions. I went into the store a few weeks later to ask if I could have a sample of the fabric for the cushions as the colour was an unusual orange and wanted to match up my decor. I was told that they didn?t have fabric samples in store but I would be emailed a link so I could order the samples. The link didn?t work, but I managed to work it out myself on the website. Samples arrived and the orange colour seemed brighter, so I went back to store to check only to be told cushions were not ordered and that I?d have to pay extra! Despite, James doing his best to resolve, I was invited to cancel my order (4weeks down the line) as they would not be prepared to cover all the costs as the sales representative claimed she did not inform me they were included. Which I find strange as she even emailed me a link to order the fabric for the cushions? If she knew I didn?t order cushions why would she do that!Such a shame as the sofa in question was lovely, but I?m not prepared to pay for cushions which I was told was included out of principle. If you are buying a sofa from DFS, my recommendation would be to get everything in writing of what is/isn?t included before you leave the store.

Went to dfs Cardiff gate and spoke to a very lovely lady call GIOVANNA a very pleasant and helpful sales rep she told us everything we needed to know and explained all the insurance and what was covered and even down to when and how to use the cleaning kit and how to plump up cushions on the items we decided to buy was given the choices of which version we would like and colour arrangements she is a brilliant asset to this store and has taken her time with us . The only downfall to this purchase so far which is not the lady's fault is that it could take up to 13 weeks to be made and delivered.

Terrible Service.First of all we walked around for atleast 15 minutes and no one came upto us and see if we needed help so after looking we went next door to SCS, we then went back in DFS because we preferred the options they had. We walked around for a further 10minutes and had to get some assistance ourselves, as the staff were busy sitting down on the sofa talking between themselves.When we finally got a staff to help us, We was looking for a cream coloured sofa and found the perfect cream one but looked at a different sofa for the style. So she proceeded to order us the sofa we wanted in cream, so we looked at the colour samples and they had the exact same cream for the one we was looking at and she said on the back of the sample it says silver but not to worry and gave us her word that it will come as cream cause it said on the back of the sample as code silver. So because she gave us her word we did not question her.So when the delivery of the sofa came it came as SILVER! So I called and got the lady who served us to call back when she was back in work.When she called me she says she don't remember us being there which was only 1month after order and said it was our fault and said that I shouldn't have ordered silver if I wanted cream. So that annoyed me and I said from the beginning of our conversation we told her we needed a cream sofa because we had a golden lab and that she gave us her word her would come cream even that the sample said silver on the back of cream. She then said she can exchange it but we may need to pay for extra charges when it was cleary her fault.Will never use this company again. No wonder there's so many negative reviews for this branch.

Will not use this store again? I brought a coffee table, waited 4 months for it . Went in 4 times to ask for delivery, and the manager said they had lost it.
