Honestly revolting Drs I got accused of having Alzheimer's because I didn't think I had a particular medical test I started to doubt myself, turned out the Dr was looking at someone else's medical record. This is not the first awful thing to happen here. I have made complaints before but I don't see the point. Every time I have had appointments the Drs have treated me with disdain.

Since the surgery was merged with Taran Group the service (which was not stellar to begin with) just became an absolute nightmare. It is impossible to see a GP, and I mean it. It is not possible to call (they only take calls at 8 o?clock in the morning and the line is constantly busy!!) and the only other option left is filling a form online and hope a GP will call you back, which does not happen. They are supposed to call within 48 hours but they don?t. When you call to remind them you didn?t receive a call back, you get rude staff fobbing you off for daring disturbing them. I am speechless these people don?t seem to grasp they are a public service for which they receive money from the Welsh Government. Don?t register to this surgery and if you are, try to raise complaints to health boards. They cannot ignore complaints forever!

Although the reception staff are brilliant and understanding, the GPS themselves are a complete and utter waste of time.

Needs to be reported, never answers the phone and when they do they tell you there fully booked even though you call smack on 8

Worst doctors surgery I?ve ever come across. Staff are unhelpful, make you feel like your not worthy of a doctors appointment and just generally unpleasant with no care or sympathy given. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. Just generally no care in the treatment they give their patients-I never ever go to the doctors and wouldn?t if I didn?t think it was needed.

I was at this clinic 4weeks ago.I went there to pick up a form which I submitted the following day. We already have NHS number and the receptionist promised to get back to us within 24 to 48hrs its been 4weeks now no call from them and I have been trying to call but always busy.I have a todler with me in the house but they don't care to call or book an appointment to see him.

Save yourself the hassle and register elsewhere if you can. Since the merger with Caerau Lane and acquisition by the Tarian Group the surgery has gone downhillThey'll do anything to avoid seeing you. And will claim they've returned phone calls they haven't. I had a C Section and called to request pain relief. I missed the call by milliseconds as I couldn't move as quickly as normal - they knew I'd had a section so you'd hope they would be understanding and maybe try again. But no.I phoned back and was told that the doctor would try again later. Come 5pm still no call. I called and spoke to reception again who said they had tried again at 2.45pm that afternoon. There were no calls to my phone and nothing in my call history. My phone call wasn't returned again after the chaser and nothing the next day either. I ended up paying for a private GP consult via phone with a company called Tap GP.They also refused to replace my B12 after a 0 result in pregnancy. The doctor outright told me that as he didn't order the bloods he didn't see why he should and that he isn't funded to do so! After much back and forth and many calls to my midwife I ended up having to go to the Heath every other day to get it done!I've now moved to Fairwater Health Centre since my newborn arrived as I honestly didn't want to risk having to get help for her. The service there for both her & I since has been very good.

Moved here in late 2021 from Llandaff Surgery and it?s been a shower of S**T ever since. Firstly the poor administration staff losing our newest born child?s application form. Registering us to the Caerua surgery, not Danescourt. Useless health visitor who was rude, disrespectful and invasive.But worst of all is the reception staff who treat the surgery like their own little empire. Requested a call back for my 6 month old daughter (as they don?t feel it?s important enough to just give appointments for ill baby?s) missed the call back from the doctor, returned the call without 30 seconds to be told he will call me back.Doctor called me back an hour later when I was on the phone to a client. Went to voicemail where the doctor left a message asking me to call him back. 1-2 mins later I call the surgery trying to speak to the doctor, only to be told it?s their policy to refuse me and appointment as I?ve missed two call backs.

Awful since pointless merger. I had a c diff infection and needed antibiotics. Called and spoke to receptionist who siad i would get a call back from doc. No call came at all. Totally not acceptable. I am going ro change surgeries as many have

I rang Danescourt surgery and got through at 8.15am and was told doctor would call me. Have been waiting 8 hours and no call back yet. Much prefer old system.

My wife was told her results were normal . Then called up spoke to another doctor because something didn?t feel right and was told her results were not normal and there were issues.I myself called up to check on my result from examination in the Heath to be told ? I don?t know what these results mean google it ? absolutely useless I will be leaving this surgery as soon as possible. They don?t care
